Abstract: The disclosure provides routing methods and apparatuses. One example method includes that a first node receives a data packet. The first node determines a Backhaul Adaptation Protocol (BAP) header in the data packet, where the BAP header includes a BAP address of a destination node of the data packet and first information. The first information is used to determine whether the BAP header includes a routing path identifier of the data packet. The first node sends the data packet including the BAP header to the destination node based on the BAP header.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method. In the method, a first node receives a first radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message from a first donor node through a second node. Abstract: Embodiments of this application relates to a communication method and a related device. In an example, a device receives a first data packet in a first network segment, the first data packet comprises a first backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) routing identity, and the first BAP routing identity is used for transmission of the first data packet in the first network segment. The device further obtains a first correspondence. In response to determining that the first correspondence comprises the first BAP routing identity in the first data packet, the device determines that the first data packet meets a preset condition. In response to that the first data packet meets the preset condition, the device replaces the first BAP routing identity in the first data packet with a second BAP routing identity according to the first correspondence, to obtain a second data packet.

Abstract: This application discloses a routing method and an apparatus. The method and the apparatus may be used in a multi-hop communication scenario, and may also be used in another scenario. Particularly, the method and the apparatus are used for implementing routing between an AN device and remote UE in the multi-hop communication scenario. In the method, a relay terminal on a communication link may determine a transmission object by using route indication information of a data packet, or the route indication information and a target device identifier that are of the data packet, to transmit data carried in the data packet to the transmission object. In the method, routing transmission of the data packet may be guided by using route guide information, to ensure that the routing between the AN device and the remote UE can be implemented in the multi-hop communication scenario.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a configuration method. A donor CU may configure a mapping rule of a data packet in advance, and then send the mapping rule to a donor DU. The donor DU maps, based on the mapping rule, a subsequently received data packet to a corresponding RLC channel for transmission. In a method in the embodiments of this application, the donor DU may configure mapping rules of two mapping processes for the donor CU. In the 1st mapping process, one or more mapping fields are first determined based on a value of one or more fields (where these fields are referred to as reference fields below for ease of description) in the data packet. In the 2nd mapping process, the RLC channel is determined based on a value of the one or more mapping fields.
