In one embodiment, the display device includes a display panel displaying an image and a bottom chassis including a bottom portion where the display panel is mounted and a plurality of side walls connected with the bottom portion and facing a side surface of the display panel. At least two of the side walls include a base side wall and a reinforcing side wall integrally formed with the base side wall by a connection portion. The connection portion and the reinforcing side wall are bent from the base side wall and thus partially overlap the base side wall.

In one embodiment, a height difference is not generated due to the forming of the light-shielding film by forming the inclined surface on the window protector and forming the light-shielding film on one surface of the window protector including the inclined surface.

    摘要： One or more embodiments of a backlight assembly include a light guide plate (LGP), a light source module and an optical sheet. The LGP includes a side surface and an upper surface. The light source module includes a power-transmitting member and a plurality of point light sources disposed on the power-transmitting member. A side portion of the power-transmitting member is disposed on a peripheral portion of the upper surface adjacent to the side surface and a light-exiting surface of the point light sources facing the side surface to be adjacent to the side surface. The optical sheet is disposed on the upper surface. A portion of the optical sheet is disposed between a corner portion of the upper surface and the power-transmitting member adjacent to the light-exiting surface. The amount of the light absorbed by a reflective member may be decreased to improve the efficiency of the light.

In one embodiment, the device includes i) a display unit configured to display an image and ii) a window protector installed in front of the display unit and connected to the display unit through an adhesive, wherein the window protector comprises a surface which faces the display unit, wherein at least a portion of the surface is inclined with respect to the remaining portion of the surface and iii) a light-shielding film formed on at least the inclined surface. In one embodiment, a height difference is not generated due to the forming of the light-shielding film by forming the inclined surface on the window protector and forming the light-shielding film on one surface of the window protector including the inclined surface. Consequently, even when the adhesive disposed between the display unit and the window protector is overlapped at the light-shielding film, adhesion of the adhesive is improved since bubbles are not formed in the adhesive.

A first width of the combining recess adjacent to the side surface of the light-guiding plate is greater than a second width of the combining recess adjacent to the light-entering surface. Moreover, at least a portion of the body of the light-generating member is for being inserted into the combining recess.
