摘要: Ferricyanide and/or ferrocyanide ions are effectively removed from waste photographic treating solutions by contacting the solutions with weakly basic anion exchange resins. Improved results are obtained with the salt form of the weakly basic anion exchange resin when contacting takes place in the presence of a compound having a buffering action at a pH of 5 to 9, e.g., in the presence of boric acid, metaboric acid or a water soluble borate. Upon regeneration of the anion exchange resin the eluted ions can be reused as a photographic processing solution, e.g., a bleaching solution, with the addition of make up components.

摘要: A white or grayish white substance can be formed by dipping, in the first step, aluminum or an aluminum alloy having an anodically oxidized film in a first solution containing a specific salt or electrolyzing with said first solution, thereby causing the product from this salt to enter into the micropore of said film and then, in the subsequent second step, dipping the product from the first step in a second solution containing a substance which reacts with the product from the salt to be converted into a white or grayish white compound or electrolyzing with said second solution.

摘要: A color image forming process comprising processing a photographic element having silver image-wise distributed therein in the presence of a specific type of complexing agent, an oxidizing agent which is peroxo acid or salt thereof, and a dye or dyes, to oxidatively bleach the dye or dyes. By the process of this invention, color images which are stable to light, heat and moisture are obtained using photosensitive materials containing a reduced amount of silver salt or silver without using chemicals causing pollution problems for the processing.
