Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of first electrodes arranged on a plurality of display elements, a plurality of second electrodes arranged in a layer identical to or different from a layer of the first electrodes, and a plurality of first touch signal lines connected to the plurality of first electrodes; a plurality of connection terminal provided in the peripheral area; a first switch which switches a status of an electric connection between one of the plurality of image signal lines and one of the plurality of connection terminals from connected to disconnected, or vice versa; and a second switch which switches a status of an electric connection between one of the plurality of first touch signal lines and the one of the plurality of connection terminals from connected to disconnected, or vice versa.

Abstract: Disclosed is a display device having a first layer and a second layer over the second layer. The first layer possesses a display region including: a plurality of first sub-pixels; a plurality of second sub-pixels; a plurality of third sub-pixels; a partition wall sandwiched by two adjacent sub-pixels; and a sealing film thereover. The second layer includes: a first touch electrode overlapping with the partition wall and arranged along the partition wall; and a second touch electrode overlapping with the partition wall, arranged along the partition wall, and intersecting the first touch electrode. The first touch electrode and the second touch electrode exist in the same layer. The first touch electrode and the second touch electrode each have a plurality of openings. Among the number of the first sub-pixels, the number of the second sub-pixels, and the number of the third sub-pixels, one is different from the other two.

Abstract: Provided is an organic electroluminescence display device. The organic electroluminescence display device includes a bank that is provided so as to surround a central portion of a pixel electrode, an organic electroluminescence layer that is provided on the pixel electrode, a common electrode that is formed so as to extend from the organic electroluminescence layer to the bank, a color filter layer that overlaps the organic electro luminescence layer, a black matrix layer that overlaps the bank, a spacer that is provided on the black matrix layer, and a wiring that is provided on the black matrix layer so as to be placed on the spacer. The black matrix layer is disposed on the bank through the spacer. A convex portion is formed by the wiring being placed on the spacer, and the convex portion is electrically connected to the common electrode above the bank.

Abstract: Provided is a display device that even in the case where microlenses are formed to increase the light extraction efficiency, can decrease damage on an OLED caused by the production of the microlenses. Abstract: A sealing member containing conductive particles and disposed in a seal region is formed between a display panel and a touch panel. A laminated structure formed on the display panel includes a first detection lines. The first detection lines extend from the seal region to a connection region and are connected through the conductive particles to terminals of second detection lines formed on the touch panel. A peripheral edge of the organic barrier is located inward from the conductive particles of the sealing member. The above described structure can facilitate a work for connecting external lines such as FPC to the display panel and the touch panel. Further, the structure can secure stability of electrical connection between the external lines and the touch panel.
