    摘要: A method for performing phase encoded inside-out magnetic resonance imaging. The phase of the nuclear spin is advanced by applying a magnetic field gradient between application of each of several refocusing pulse sequences so that echoes are detected during refocusing pulse sequences for different phase advances. The echoes detected for each refocusing sequence are added together and averaged. An image is then generated from the averaged echoes, such as by Fourier transform techniques. In addition, a method is provided for eliminating ringing while measuring a nuclear magnetic resonance property of a volume of earth formation surrounding a borehole. The phase of the refocusing pulses is changed so that pairs of echoes in the echo train have opposite ringing phase. Echoes in the echo train having opposite ringing phase are added to cancel ringing in the echo train. The echo train can then be analyzed for amplitude and/or decay characteristics.

    摘要: A nonaqueous, heat-cured, two-component coating has a combination of good scratch resistance and resistance to etching by acid rain and comprises a solvent-containing polyol component and a cross-linking component. The cross-linking component comprises at least one aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate having 2 to 6 NCO functional groups per molecule in which 0.1 to 95 mol % of the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate are reacted with an N-alkyl-3-aminopropyltrialkoxysilane and/or an N-aryl-3-aminopropyltrialkoxysilane. The weight ratio of the polyol to the cross-linking component in the coating is 6:1 to 1:2.

    摘要: In a method and apparatus to reduce movement artifacts in magnetic resonance images an essentially unmoving area of a region to be imaged is located in a region of high sensitivity of a first group of individual local antennas, and a moving area is located in the region of high sensitivity of a second group of local antennas. Spatially coded magnetic resonance signals are received by a first group of the local antennas and are individually processed further. Spatially coded nuclear magnetic resonance signals are received by the second group of local antennas and are combined with a weighting, using weighting factors. The weighting factors are determined so as to reduce gradient of the weighted, combined, spatially dependent sensitivity of the local antennas of the second group.

The set of image-space data is generated by minimizing a cost functional by an iterative non-linear conjugate gradient process. The iterative process may be accelerated by introducing k-space weighting to the cost functional. With proper choice of k-space weighting, a block-Toeplitz matrix is generated which permits use of Fast Fourier Transform techniques. An image is rendered from the set of image-space data.
