    摘要： Provided are a method of optimized sharing of multimedia content that allows delivery of optimized multimedia content using device profiles shared between devices connected via a short-range wireless communication and a mobile terminal employing the same method. The method includes: exchanging, upon connecting with peripheral devices via one of a wired network having a predetermined wired communication protocol and a wireless network having a predetermined wireless communication protocol, profile information with the peripheral devices; displaying the received profile information about the peripheral devices in order of network distances of the peripheral devices; and arranging and displaying, if the displayed profile information about each of the peripheral devices is selected, a list of shareable and playable multimedia content items pertaining to each peripheral device in order of priority.

    摘要： A method for providing a Graphic User Interface (GUI) and a display apparatus applying the same are provided. According to the method, a screen on a specific face is displayed on a Three Dimensional (3D) GUI, and if a user's manipulation is inputted when the screen of the specific face is displayed, a screen of at least one of adjoining face that corresponds to a direction of the user's manipulation, is displayed. As a result, a user is able to select a desired menu with increased ease and convenience.

    摘要： A pointing input device and method, a pointer control device and method, and an image pattern generation device and method which move a mouse pointer displayed in a display region according to the movement of a location pointed at by the pointing input device. The pointing input device includes an image reception unit capturing an image pattern, which is displayed in a display region of a perceived size and based on which the scope of the display region is sensed, and sensing the scope of the image pattern; a coordinate extraction unit extracting coordinates of a location pointed at in the display region based on a center of the sensed scope of the image pattern; and a transmission unit transmitting the extracted coordinates to a pointer control device which controls a mouse pointer displayed in the display region.
