    摘要: The disclosure relates to use of carriers for aggregation in a wireless system. A set of carriers available for use in carrier aggregation is first determined. It is then determined if at least one carrier of the set of carriers can become unavailable for use by a communication device. An indication of a configuration type of the at least one carrier is sent to the communication device, the configuration type being indicative of different behavior during a period. The at least one carrier is maintained in the set of carriers during said period. The communication device receives the indication. If a change in the availability state of the at least one carrier is determined, the communication is operated, device in relation to the at least one carrier, according to the availability state and the received indication during said period.

    摘要: A method includes, in response to a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle being configured, and in response to a hybrid automatic repeat request round trip time (HARQ RTT) timer for an associated one of n hybrid automatic repeat request processes expiring in a current subframe when data in a corresponding hybrid automatic repeat request buffer is not successfully decoded, determining if a single discontinuous reception retransmission timer has been started. The single discontinuous reception retransmission timer is associated with all n of the hybrid automatic repeat request processes, where n is an integer equal to one or more than one. The method further includes, if the single discontinuous reception retransmission timer has not been started, starting the single discontinuous reception retransmission timer and setting an associated expiry value to a basic value. The method further includes, if the single discontinuous reception retransmission timer has been started, updating the expiry value by adding an increment value.

    摘要: An exemplary embodiment in accordance with this invention is a method for determining the number of interfering streams. The method includes calculating statistical information based on one or more received OFDM signals. The number of interfering streams is estimated from the statistical information in this method. The OFDM signal(s) are received via a plurality of antennas. Storing the OFDM signal(s) in a square matrix may be included in the method. A covariance matrix of the square matrix can be determined; and a noise subspace and a signal plus interference subspace can be determined based on a SVD of the covariance matrix. The statistical information may be based on the signal plus interference subspace. Apparatus, computer programs and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

An inner circle subgradient resource allocation iteration is performed based on information received from at least one other wireless node of the system and an iteration parameter until a convergent result.
