摘要: A base station apparatus (130, 220) in a network (410) transmits V2X support information indicating that a V2X service is supported by the network (410). In response to receiving V2X support information, a radio terminal (100, 120) transmits, to the network (410), V2X terminal information indicating that the radio terminal (100, 120) is interested in the V2X service. The network (410) transmits V2X configuration to the radio terminal (100, 120) in response to receiving the V2X terminal information transmitted from the radio terminal (100, 120). The radio terminal (100, 120) receives the V2X configuration and performs V2X communication in accordance with the V2X configuration. It is thus, for example, possible to contribute to achievement of a procedure for performing provisioning for the V2X service on the radio terminal that intends to use the V2X service.

A first network element sends a first request message to a second network element. The first request message is used to request to establish a connection to the second network element. A first cell group managed by the first network element and a second cell group managed by the second network element belong to a candidate cell set of a dynamic cell set (DCS). The first network element receives, from the second network element, a first response message in response to the first request message. Before a terminal is handed over, the first network element requests to establish the connection to the second network element to configure the dynamic cell set for the terminal.

The processor circuitry can be configured to receive, using the radio front end circuitry and from a source device associated with a source cell, a conditional handover command for a conditional handover to a target cell. The processor circuitry can be further configured to determine, based on the received conditional handover command, a condition for exiting the conditional handover. The processor circuitry can be further configured to in response to the condition being met, exit the conditional handover.

摘要: Systems and methods of a predictive handoff that cause a handoff of user equipment from one network site to another network site. A network site connected to the user equipment monitors a quality of a signal between the network site and the user equipment and receives movement information from the user equipment. The network site selects a potential network site for the handoff of the user equipment based on the movement information and a potential signal quality between the user equipment and the potential network site. The network site coordinates the handoff and causes the selected potential network site to transmit a handoff instruction to the user equipment. The network site also instructs the user equipment to listen for the handoff instruction and the user equipment and potential network site can complete the handoff.

摘要: A method of handover at a user equipment (UE) is provided comprising receiving, from a first network entity (NE), a configuration for conditional handover associated with a second NE. The configuration includes at least one condition. An indication is received by the UE from the first NE to execute the conditional handover. Handover is initiated from the first NE to the second NE subject to the condition being satisfied. The condition may be that the indication is received or it may be a channel condition or both. At an NE, configurations for conditional handover are sent to multiple UEs, each configuration associated with a target NE and each including at least one condition, and an indication is sent to at least one UE to execute conditional handover.

摘要: A method for congestion control at an eNodeB is described, comprising detecting congestion at an eNodeB and entering a congestion control mode, receiving, at the eNodeB, a new user equipment (UE) connection request that contains a radio resource control (RRC) establishment cause, and using the RRC establishment cause for identifying a congestion management strategy, the congestion management strategy comprising one of initiating a handover for an existing LTE bearer, or redirecting the new UE connection request to a 3G nodeB.
