摘要： According to various embodiments, a resistive-switching memory element and memory element array that uses a bipolar switching includes a select element comprising only a single diode that is not a Zener diode. The resistive-switching memory elements described herein can switch even when a switching voltage less than the breakdown voltage of the diode is applied in the reverse-bias direction of the diode. The memory elements are able to switch during the very brief period when a transient pulse voltage is visible to the memory element, and therefore can use a single diode per memory cell.

The system and computer readable medium includes a capture module for identifying each of the plurality of DISTINCT keys in the query and a sort module coupled to the capture module for determining if more than one sort is needed to execute the query, performing a first DISTINCT operation on a first DISTINCT key of the plurality of DISTINCT keys, storing data fetched from the first DISTINCT operation in a master workfile only if more than one sort process is needed to execute the query, and utilizing the master workfile to perform subsequent DISTINCT operations on the other of the plurality of DISTINCT keys.

Such inhibitors include ethanol, aliphatic acids, such as acetic acid, formic acid; furan derivatives, such as 2-furaldehyde, 2-furoic acid; and phenolic compounds, such as vanillin and hydroxybenzoic acid. Such carbohydrates may include xylose, arabinose, mannose and mixtures thereof. These mutant strains may be employed to, for example, effectively and efficiently prepare ethanol from biomass.

The translation is optimized so that the number of translated non-scalar SIMD instructions is minimized. 摘要： A via contact is provided to a diffusion region at a top surface of a substrate which includes a single-crystal semiconductor region. The via contact includes a first layer which consists essentially of a silicide of a first metal in contact with the diffusion region at the top surface. A dielectric region overlies the first layer, the dielectric region having an outer surface and an opening extending from the outer surface to the top surface of the substrate. A second layer lines the opening and contacts the top surface of the substrate in the opening, the second layer including a second metal which lines a sidewall of the opening and a silicide of the second metal which is self-aligned to the top surface of the substrate in the opening. A diffusion barrier layer overlies the second layer within the opening. A third layer including a third metal overlies the diffusion barrier layer and fills the opening.
