Abstract:
A connecting fitting releasably connects two platelike furniture members. The connecting fitting comprises two connecting member which are adapted to be secured to respective ones of the furniture members. A first connecting member is pin-like and has a head and a shank, and the second connecting member is in the form of a casing with a cylindrical shell. A spring loaded locking member is situated within the casing. The casing has an opening in its cylindrical shell through which the head of the first connecting member is insertable. The locking member is adapted for releasably engaging the head of the pin-like connecting member when in the inserted position. A latch is situated in the casing to obstruct movement of the locking member biased by the spring. The latch is provided with a resilient abutment lever which the pin-like member strikes when it is inserted into the casing and by means of which the pin-like member moves the latch. The abutment lever gives way to the head of the pin-like connecting member when the latter is moved out of the casing.
Abstract:
A drawer has two drawer side frames to each of which a pull-out rail of a drawer guide assembly is releasably fastened. Each pull-out rail has at its rear end a hook by means of which it is engageable in the drawer. The drawer is provided with catch elements which engage on each side in a recess of the pull-out rail and abut on a catch edge of the pull-out rail. Each drawer frame has a hook member which receives the front end of the pull-out rail. Further, a number of stop surfaces staggered in a direction inclined to the pull-out direction of the drawer are formed on the catch elements. One of these stop surfaces abuts on the catch edge.
Abstract:
A hinge with an adjusting system includes a hinge arm that can be secured to a base plate by at least one adapter. The hinge arm has holes through which pass adjusting and attachment screws. The adapter can be installed on the base plate and can be locked by means of a rocker lever supported on the adapter so as to be able to swivel. The adapter is U-shaped and has two side arms that enclose the base plate and the sides thereof. Both side arms of the adapter lie with no clearance on the base plate, and the material of at least one of the side arms is weakened at at least one place. The adapter is installed at the front by a cross pin thereof fitting in a notch in the base plate. The shape of the notch corresponds to that of the cross pin, and the cross pin is accommodated without any play within the notch. The generators or the center or mid-line longitudinal axes of the notch and the cross pin extend unstressed at an angle relative to each other.
Abstract:
A hinge includes a hinge arm adapted to be snapped onto a mounting plate. The front of the hinge arm is directly or by an intermediate member indirectly engageable into the mounting plate, and the rear of the hinge arm has a tilting lever at which a hook member is formed by which the tilting lever is lockable to the mounting plate. When a door is mounted to the body of an article of furniture, the hinge arm can be engaged into the mounting plate and then fastened thereto simply by applying pressure. Canting of the hinge arm at the mounting plate is prevented.
Abstract:
A fastening device for adjustable front plates of drawers. A supporting part is fastened to the drawer side walls at each side of the drawer. The front plate is by means of screws or dowels fastened to holding parts which are engageable in said supporting parts. A holding means which engages at a hook of the corresponding holding part is arranged at each side of the drawer. Each holding means comprises a clamping hook which is mounted on a vertically adjustable sledge, and is clampable by means of an eccentric and pulls by means of said hook of said holding part the front plate to said drawer side wall.
Abstract:
A hinge includes a hinge arm which is snappable onto a mounting plate by means of an intermediate member. The intermediate member is at the front thereof engageable with the mounting plate and at the rear thereof provided with a pivot lever having a hook member by means of which the pivot lever and the intermediate member are lockable on the mounting plate. Centering elements include, for example, a locking bolt extending into a notch in the mounting plate or noses which abut on a base member of the mounting plate.
Abstract:
A fastening device for adjustably mounting a drawer front plate, a includes a suppporting part arranged at each side of the drawer and having a fastening flange aligned vertically to the front plate and a holding flange aligned parallel to the front plate. The holding flanges extend at angles with respect to the fastening flanges. Holding parts are fastened to the front plate by means of screws. The holding parts include hooks that are engageable into the holding flanges. A tightening member is held at each supporting part. The tightening members are pressable against the holding parts and thus provide a bracing engagement between the holding parts and the supporting parts.
Abstract:
A hinge for furniture doors is adjustable in three directions, i.e. in the direction of the depth of an article of furniture, in the direction of the height of the article of furniture and in the direction of the breadth of the door joint. Adjustment is effected by moving a hinge arm of the hinge with respect to a base plate on which the hinge arm is mounted. The hinge arm has a U-shaped cross section. A guiding member which is a rhomboid plate or a rectangular plate with oblique slots is positioned in the U of the hinge arm and has oblique faces sliding along corresponding faces on the base plate. Side edges of the guiding member slide along side flanges of the hinge arm. For height adjustment the hinge arm is not moved on a straight line but along a curve or two straight lines that are at an angle to each other.
Abstract:
A hinge comprises a closing member which is acted upon by a spring, the spring being arranged in a shell and one end thereof resting against a hinge axle. The shell has a lateral driving pin which rests against a supporting flange associated with a hinge link, the supporting flange having a curved guiding surface for generating a closing pressure. The supporting flange is formed on a separate guiding block mountable on the hinge link.
