摘要： A one-piece plastic drawer safety latch for preventing unwanted opening of drawers or the like includes a mounting section mounted to an exterior of the drawer and a latching section which normally projects forwardly toward a front of the drawer and outwardly at an angle relative thereto. The latching section includes a forward facing step which abuts against an opposing surface of a cabinet front wall to prevent complete opening of the drawer. The latching section includes a finger tab which projects out of the cabinet housing when the drawer is partially open such that a user can manually press the latch section inwardly to disengage the step from the cabinet frame and permit complete opening of the drawer.

摘要： A disconnect latch is provided for use with a drawer slide assembly of the type including an elongated drawer member and a stopper for limiting longitudinal travel of the elongated drawer member. The disconnect latch includes the unitarily formed combination of a lever, a mounting section for non-pivotally coupling the disconnect latch to the elongated drawer member, and a main body portion integral with the lever at one end thereof and with the mounting section at the opposite end thereof. The main body portion includes a stop surface for maintaining the elongated drawer member in a locked condition. A plurality of longitudinally spaced grooves is further included, each spanning the whole vertical height of the main body portion. The grooves facilitate the non-pivotal flexing of the disconnect latch so as to allow the stop surface to clear the locking member when downward pressure is applied to the lever, as well as to allow shock absorption during impact of the stop surface against the stopper.

摘要： A file cabinet drawer slide assembly comprises a slide arm which is fitted with rotatable rollers, the rollers being dimensioned and configured to support a hem of a cabinet drawer. The slide arm is cooperable with a generally C-shaped track fixed to an inside side wall of the cabinet and configured to receive and support the slide arm in rolling telescoping relationship. A pivotable cam member is secured to the forward end of the slide arm in proximity to one of the rollers defining a slot through which the hem of the drawer travels. The bottom wall of the drawer is provided with a downward projection which engages a cross brace connected to the slide arm and normally prevents removal of the drawer. When the cam member is pivoted away from the hem, the drawer may be lifted sufficiently such that the projection disengages from the cross brace and the drawer can be removed from the cabinet.

摘要： A conventional dovetail slot is formed in a wooden guide which is attached to the bottom of a drawer. A rubber or plastic wedge is secured in one end of the slot and tapers outwardly towards the end of the slot. A runner having a dovetail-shaped tongue moves relative to the guide and slides in the slot. The inner surface of the tongue is concave so that the tongue can slide over the wedge. However, a screw or other projection on the tongue contacts the wedge to form a stop when the drawer reaches the full open position.
