Abstract: A method for transmitting a data unit by an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises steps of receiving, from a network, backhaul (BH) configuration including first information about first bearers associated with a parent node and second information about second bearers associated with a child node, wherein each of the first bearers is configured with a BH identifier belonging to a first BH identifier set, wherein each of the second bearers is configured with a BH identifier belonging to a second BH identifier set; receiving the data unit from the parent node via one of the first bearers; and transmitting the data unit to the child node via one of the second bearers.

Abstract: A radio link control (RLC) entity of a transmitting device receives a first RLC service data unit (SDU) from an upper layer of the transmitting device. If the RLC entity receives, from the upper layer, a discard indication to discard the first RLC SDU, the RLC entity checks whether the first RLC SDU has been submitted to a lower layer of the transmitting device. The RLC entity discards the first RLC SDU if neither the first RLC SDU nor a segment of the first RLC SDU has been submitted to the lower layer.

Based on the destination BAP address and the path ID of the packet matching the at least one entry, rewriting a header of the packet by setting the destination BAP address and the path ID according to the at least one entry, and transmitting the packet to a next hop node.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a routing path switching in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving a configuration for a first routing identity (ID) and a second routing ID, wherein the first routing ID is related to a first routing path towards a destination node, and the second routing ID is related to a second routing path towards the destination node; transmitting, to the destination node, a first protocol data unit (PDU) via the first routing path related to the first routing ID; and based on that a condition to switch a routing path is satisfied: constructing a second PDU so that a header of the second PDU includes information for a routing path switch to the second routing path; and transmitting, to the destination node, the second PDU including the header via the second routing path related to the second routing ID.
