The method includes: determining that a stable route needs to be established; establishing the stable route and recording a route entry corresponding to the stable route in a route table; determining an effective time of the stable route, in which the effective time of the stable route is longer than the effective time of another common route; and performing an aging operation on the route entry according to the effective time of the stable route. With the present invention, requirements of different applications on the delay may be satisfied, and the consumption of the network bandwidth may be reduced.

    摘要: A method of operating a satellite communication network is disclosed. The network includes a plurality of satellites interconnected by a plurality of satellite-to-satellite communication links. Each of the plurality of satellites is configured to communicate with at least one ground station using respective ground-satellite communication links. The method includes transmitting a routing table to each of the satellites. Each routing table has a list of destination satellites, and defines at least two possible routes leading to it. An alert message identifying a problem communication link is transmitted to a subset of the plurality of satellites. In response to receiving the alert message, subsequent data packets are routed through the communication network by the satellites using their respective routing table to avoid the problem communication link.

    摘要: Provided are a path control method, a wireless communication system, a path control device, and a non-transitory computer readable medium which are capable of securing efficient traffic accommodation, while maintaining communication quality. The path control method controls a communication path by selecting one path from among a plurality of path candidates with respect to a specific piece of traffic in a network constituted of a radio link provided with an adaptive modulation function. A requested band of the piece of traffic is compared with an allocatable band allocatable to a first path candidate that is included in the plurality of path candidates and that satisfies a degree of stability requested by the piece of traffic by a first modulation method. As a result of the comparison, when the requested band of the piece of traffic is larger than the allocatable band, a penalty cost due to transmission using a band usable by a second modulation method having a lower degree of stability is given to the first path candidate so that the first path candidate is less likely to be selected as compared with the other path candidates for selecting one path from among the plurality of path candidates.

    摘要: Various systems and methods for fault-tolerant and otherwise optimized communication, in which a system includes communication nodes connected by wireless data links together forming a ring structure, as well as additional wireless data links operative to partition the ring structure into multiple sub-ring structures. The system is operative to select, per each of the sub-ring structures, one of the wireless data links to remain dormant, thereby effectively creating a certain communication tree structure. The system is further operative, upon detecting a communication problem or inefficiency in any or all of the sub-ring structures, to shut-down, per sub-ring structure detected, the problematic or otherwise inefficient wireless data link, and to reactivate instead the dormant wireless data link, thereby effectively switching to a new communication tree structure, and thus resolving the problem or otherwise improving efficiency.

    摘要: A system and method for providing wireless network communications between a plurality of remote devices and a site controller are provided. Each network and the site controller communicates using a communications protocol adapted to allow remote devices and the site controller to independently control the communication path for transmissions sent by each device. In some embodiments, remote devices can collect and store information about other remote devices and available communication paths for optimum data transmission. Also, in some embodiments, remote devices can quickly join a preexisting network by communicating with a site controller and/or other remote devices.
