    Abstract: A condenser bag includes a body bounding a channel that extends between an inlet opening at a first end and an outlet opening and an opposing second end, the body being comprised of a polymeric film. An intake port is secured to the body at the inlet opening and bounds an port opening that extends therethrough and communicates with the channel. A tubular transfer line has a first end coupled with the body so as to communicate with the channel at a first location located between the inlet opening and the outlet opening and an opposing second end coupled with either the intake port so as to communicate with the port opening therein or with the body so as to communicate with the channel at a second location located between the intake port and the first location.

    Abstract: A method for culturing a microbial or cellular seed culture includes positioning a first flexible bag within a chamber of a first retainer, the first retainer being secured to a mixer table. A culture is produced within a compartment of the flexible bag, the culture comprising a growth media and a microbial or cellular starter culture added thereto. The mixer table is activated so that the culture is mixed within the compartment of the first flexible bag while the microbes or cells of the culture grow, the culture having a maximum volume of less than 10 liters.

    Abstract: A filter assembly includes a casing having of a polymeric film and bounding a compartment, the casing having an inlet opening communicating with the compartment and a first outlet opening communicating with the compartment. A first filter includes a porous filter body through which gas can pass and has a pore size smaller than 1 μm, the first filter being coupled with the casing so that the filter body is at least partially disposed within compartment of the casing and so that gas passing through the compartment of the casing from the inlet opening to the first outlet opening must pass through the filter body.
