    Abstract: A tool bit includes a drive portion configured to be engaged by a tool, the drive portion including a first maximum outer dimension, a shank extending from the drive portion and including a reduced outer diameter, and a tip coupled to an end of the shank opposite from the drive portion. The tip includes a compressive residual stress layer formed by blasting to increase a wear resistance of the tip relative to the shank. The tip additionally includes a second maximum outer dimension. The reduced outer diameter of the shank is smaller than the first maximum outer dimension of the drive portion and the second maximum outer dimension of the tip.

    Abstract: A lockable adapter is configured to couple a drive socket to a tool. The lockable adapter includes a body defining a longitudinal axis. The body is configured to couple the lockable adapter to the tool. The lockable adapter includes a sleeve moveably coupled relative to the body along the longitudinal axis of the body between a first position and a second position. The sleeve is configured to interface with the drive socket to support the drive socket on the sleeve. The lockable adapter includes a collar moveable relative to the sleeve. The sleeve moves into the second position configured to lock the drive socket to the sleeve in response to inserting the drive socket onto the sleeve. The sleeve moves into the first position configured to allow removal of the drive socket from the sleeve in response to moving the collar relative to the sleeve.

    Abstract: A drive guide connectable to a power tool includes a shank, a barrel, and a sleeve. The shank includes a tool coupling portion and a barrel coupling portion. The barrel is coupled to the barrel coupling portion of the shank. The barrel includes a bit coupling portion configured to couple to a tool bit. The barrel also includes a first depth indicium disposed on a surface of the barrel and a second depth indicium disposed on the surface of the barrel. The second depth indicium is circumferentially spaced about the barrel from the first depth indicium. The sleeve is disposed concentrically about and slidable along the barrel. An edge of the sleeve provides a visual indicator to determine depth based on the first and second depth indicia.

    Abstract: A lockable adapter is configured to selectively couple a drive socket to a power tool. The lockable adapter includes a shaft configured to couple the lockable adapter to the power tool for the power tool to rotate the lockable adapter about an axis, a drive member movable along the axis relative to the shaft, and a retaining member supported by the drive member. The drive member is configured to interface with the drive socket to support the drive socket on the lockable adapter. When the lockable adapter is in a locked state, a portion of the retaining member protrudes beyond a surface of the drive member such that the retaining member is configured to secure the drive socket to the drive member. When the lockable adapter is in an unlocked state, the retaining member is configured to allow for removal of the drive socket from the drive member.
