    摘要: A polarization separation device has a grating having a recurring blaze-shaped grating pattern formed on one surface of a transparent base plate and an optically anisotropic material layer arranged adjacent to the grating and having different refractive indices in the direction in which the grating pattern recurs and in the direction perpendicular to that direction. The polarization separation device separates light incident thereon into two linearly polarized light components that have polarization planes perpendicular to each other in accordance with the polarization directions thereof by refracting one and simply transmitting the other of those two linearly polarized light components. Here, the refractive index N0 of the grating and the refractive indices Ne and Np of the optically anisotropic material layer with respect to one and the other, respectively, of the linearly polarized light components are defined as follows: |Ne−N0|≧0.2, and |Np−N0|≦0.03.

    摘要: A camera is capable of switching normal photographing mode and panoramic photographing mode to each other and has a view finder for checking a photographing range. The view finder includes a visual frame display device, a device for varying magnification of the view finder, a control device. The visual frame display device switches a visual frame for displaying the normal photographing mode and a visual frame for displaying the panoramic photographing mode. The control device switches the visual frame display device from the visual frame for displaying the normal photographing mode to the visual frame for displaying the panoramic photographing mode and allows the magnification varying device to increase the magnification of the view finder. Instead of the control device, in switching the normal photographing mode to the panoramic photographing mode, the control device also instructs the magnification varying device to vary the magnification of the view finder so that either an angle of view corresponding to a horizontal direction or in a vertical direction in the panoramic photographing mode is displayed in the visual frame for displaying the normal photographing mode and then, instructs the visual frame display device to switch the visual frame for displaying the normal photographing mode to the visual frame for displaying the panoramic photographing mode, and the view finder magnification varying device to vary the magnification of the view finder.

    摘要: The present invention provides a composition which comprises a radial poly(aromatic vinyl)/polyisoprene block copolymer as a major component and which can be used as a more excellent pressure-sensitive ingredient. This composition is obtained by reacting a diblock polymer with a coupling agent having a functionality of 4 or higher in the presence of a coupling accelerator, and it contains (a) 1 to 34% by weight of a diblock polymer, (b) 34 to 99% by weight of a four-branch polymer, and (c) 0 to 50% by weight of a two-branch polymer and/or a three-branch polymer. The poly(aromatic vinyl)/polyisoprene block copolymer contained in the composition has a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 260,000 to 500,000, and the poly(aromatic vinyl)/polyisoprene block copolymer has a poly(aromatic vinyl) block content of 5 to 24% by weight.
