Abstract: Reduction of reception sensitivity, which is caused by inter-modulation distortion occurring between a first transmit signal and a second transmit signal, is suppressed. A first filter has a passband including the transmit band of a first communication band. A second filter has a passband including the transmit band of a second communication band. A third filter has a passband including the receive band of the first communication band. The first communication band and the second communication band are communication bands available for simultaneous transmission. At least a part of the frequency range of the inter-modulation distortion, which occurs between the first transmit signal in the first communication band and the second transmit signal in the second communication band, overlaps at least a part of the receive band of the first communication band.

Abstract: Opposite-side frequency bands are opened in a plurality of carrier aggregations. In a radio frequency module, a variable phase shifter differentiates a phase in a first single mode in which signals of a first frequency band are communicated and a phase in a first carrier aggregation mode and differentiates the phase in the first single mode and a phase in a second carrier aggregation mode. The variable phase shifter makes a phase difference between the phase in the first single mode and the phase in the first carrier aggregation mode different from a phase difference between the phase in the first single mode and the phase in the second carrier aggregation mode.

Abstract: A front end circuit includes a circulator having a first port into which a transmission signal is input, a second port into/from which a transmission/reception signal is input/output, and a third port from which a reception signal is output. The impedance of the second port of the circulator is set to a value different from the impedance value of the first port and the third port. With his configuration, the narrowing of a frequency band and the increase in loss, which occur when an impedance matching circuit is additionally provided, are prevented.
