Abstract: A timing controller and a polarity control method thereof are provided. The timing controller includes a line buffer and a check circuit. The line buffer temporarily stores a plurality of sub-pixel data of a current sub-pixel row in an image frame so as to transmit the plurality of sub-pixel data of the current sub-pixel row to a source driver. The check circuit generates a polarity command corresponding to the current sub-pixel row for the source driver to set a polarity inversion mode of the current sub-pixel row. The check circuit checks the plurality of sub-pixel data of the current sub-pixel row so as to determine whether to dynamically change the polarity inversion mode of the current sub-pixel row.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a display driving device and a display control device and an operation method thereof. The display control device includes a data analyzing circuit and a data compensation circuit. The data analyzing circuit performs arithmetic operation on multiple sub-pixel data output by a target driving channel of a source driver in a current frame to obtain a resultant value corresponding to the target driving channel. The data compensation circuit determines at least one compensation grayscale value corresponding to the resultant value. The compensation grayscale value is to be displayed by the target driving channel in a vertical blank period of a frame period in which the current frame is displayed. The target driving channel of the source driver outputs at least one compensation voltage corresponding to the at least one compensation grayscale value in the vertical blank period of the frame period.

Abstract: A driving method of LED display, configured to be applied to an LED display capable of varying a refresh rate thereof and able to reduce brightness changes due to refresh rate variation, is disclosed in the present disclosure. This driving method includes: controlling an organic light-emitting diode of the LED display by an emission signal having a plurality of frame periods, with each of the frame periods having a PWM part with a duty ratio; detecting whether a change in the refresh rate of the LED display exists; and performing a compensation procedure when the change is detected, with the compensation procedure compensating a brightness difference of the organic light-emitting diode occurring due to the change in the refresh rate by adjusting the duty ratio of the PWM part. Said LED display is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing circuit for compensating image data for a display panel used for displaying first and second image patterns respectively having first and second current loadings. The image processing circuit is used for: receiving a first original image data of the first image pattern and a second original image data of the second image pattern having the same brightness value for a pixel at the same location; converting the first original image data into a first final image data to compensate for an IR drop according to the first current loading; and converting the second original image data into a second final image data to compensate for the IR drop according to the second current loading. The first final image data and the second final image data have substantially the same brightness value for the pixel at the same location.

An image information of an image is received, wherein the image includes a plurality of blocks and the image information includes a plurality of pixel information of each block. A dual gamma correction is performed on a first group of blocks of the image to obtain one or more corrected blocks and the dual gamma correction is skipped on a second group of blocks of the image to obtain a plurality of uncorrected blocks. A first encoding process is performed on the one or more corrected blocks to obtain a plurality of first encoded blocks. A second encoding process different from the first encoding process is performed on the plurality of uncorrected blocks to obtain a plurality of second encoded blocks.
