    Abstract: Example embodiments may relate to an apparatus, method and/or computer program for managing timing advance loops. The method may comprise receiving, at a user equipment from a plurality of network nodes, respective downlink reference signals, wherein an antenna system of the user equipment receives the downlink reference signals using a wide beam configuration. The method may also comprise performing measurements on the received downlink reference signals to determine a parameter and for determining that the parameter does not meet a predetermined criteria. Based on the parameter not meeting the predetermined criteria, the method may comprise configuring the antenna system such that at least one of the downlink reference signals is received using a narrow beam configuration. The method may involve re-performing the measurements on downlink reference signals from the plurality of network nodes. Based on the parameter meeting the predetermined criteria, it may be determined that transmission of candidate uplink signals, from the user equipment to the at least one of the plurality of network nodes, can be grouped into one timing advance loop.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for radio channel pattern matching. One method may include receiving, at an antenna panel, at least two configured transmission configuration indicator states for simultaneous multiple input multiple output reception; for each of the at least two configured transmission configuration indicator states for simultaneous reception from one or more transmission reception points, sweeping at least one narrow beam receiving one or more repeated reference signals received from the one or more transmission reception points; and, based upon at least one spatial radio multipath channel characteristic of the one or more repeated reference signals carrying each transmission configuration indicator state, selecting at least one antenna element of the antenna panel to form a group of antenna elements and control the group of antenna elements to direct at least one beam.

    Abstract: An apparatus for use by a UE configured to conduct a communication in a communication network. The apparatus is configured to receive and process signals from the communication network via signal receiving portions, wherein one of the signal receiving portions is a serving cell signal receiving portion used for connecting to the communication network via a serving cell, and another of the signal receiving portions is a non-serving cell signal receiving portion being not used for connecting to the communication network. A signal receiving portion specific offset value is obtained for each of the signal receiving portions. Signal quality values for signals received by the signal receiving portions from the communication network are measured, wherein the cells include the serving cell. A measurement report is sent to the communication network on the basis of the results of the signal quality measurements and the offset values for the signal receiving portions.

    Abstract: Various example embodiments relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable mediums for virtual cable calibration in over the air conformance testing. In an example embodiment, a terminal device may receive training signals from at least four probes, estimate a channel based on the received training signals, and transmit a representation of the estimated channel to a test equipment coupled to the at least four probes. The terminal device and the at least four probes are positioned in a testing chamber. The estimated channel includes an over the air, OTA, channel portion between the at least four probes and the terminal device. The representation of the estimated channel is transmitted to the test equipment for compensation of the OTA channel portion.

    Abstract: A multi-panel mobile apparatus may be configured to perform, periodically during a scan time, downlink quality measurements on a serving cell and on at least one neighboring cell; determine, in a first mode, a first distribution of a scan time between a plurality of antenna panels, based on measurement results of a serving antenna panel on the serving cell; determine, in a second mode, a second distribution of the scan time between a subset of the plurality of antenna panels, based on a first difference between measurement results on the serving cell and measurement results on one or more candidate target cells for a handover procedure; and determine, in a third mode, a third distribution of the scan time between a further subset of the plurality of antenna panels, based on a second difference between measurement results on the serving cell and measurement results on a target cell.
