Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for Uplink Control Information (UCI) design. The method comprises determining, at a terminal device, a matrix comprising a set of non-zero linear combination coefficients for quantizing a channel between the terminal device and a network device, the matrix having spatial components and frequency components; shifting the frequency components of the matrix circularly, such that a target coefficient of the set of non-zero linear combination coefficients is located in a frequency component with a predetermined index of the frequency components in a shifted matrix; generating a first indication indicating the spatial component associated with the target coefficient in the matrix; and transmitting, to the network device, uplink control information comprising the first indication. In this way, a new solution for designing the UCI may reduce the overhead for reporting the parameters in the UCI.

Abstract: A method for predicting channel state information is described. The method includes determining whether or not geodesic prediction is to be performed and transmitting the determination of whether or not geodesic prediction is to be performed in a first part of uplink control signaling. In response to determining that geodesic prediction is not to be performed, the method includes transmitting a current channel estimate in a second part of uplink control signaling, and in response to determining that geodesic prediction is to be performed, the method includes transmitting either a determined current value of a tangent vector, or a determined step size parameter, or both the determined current value of the tangent vector and the determined step size parameter in the second part of uplink control signaling. Channel state information is predicted based on information provided in the first and second parts of uplink control signaling.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer readable medium facilitate network control by allowing a base station to predict when power class fallback will occur in user equipment. In the context of a method, the method receives a message comprising information about at least one of a first power class or a maximum duty cycle associated with user equipment. The method determines, based on at least the first power class or the maximum duty cycle, a threshold duty cycle for the user equipment. The method causes the threshold duty cycle to be transmitted to the user equipment. The method determines an uplink transmission schedule for the user equipment based at least on the first power class or the maximum duty cycle. The method receives, from the user equipment, a report that the threshold duty cycle has been exceeded by the user equipment.
