摘要: A paper-feeding roller including a rubber composition containing short fibers in which the short fibers has an average fiber diameter not less than 10 μm nor more than 100 μm and an average fiber length not less than 0.01 mm nor more than 4 mm. At least one part of all of the short fibers is radially oriented at an angle not less than 10 degrees nor more than 90 degrees with respect to a plane which contacts a surface of the paper-feeding roller, with one end of each of the radially oriented short fibers disposed exposably on the surface of the paper-feeding roller.

摘要: Without using a traveling velocity of a vehicular object mounted with a radar device, an off-axis angle which is an offset angle between a reference direction of the radar device and a traveling direction of the vehicular object is estimated. An off-axis angle estimation method for estimating an off-axis angle (φ) of a radar device (1) mounted on the vehicular object having a predetermined traveling direction includes that, from among reflection points of which a relative-velocity component (q) along the line of radar sight and an azimuthal angle (θ) are detected by the radar device (1), a plurality of reflection points of which the relative-velocity components in the traveling direction of the vehicular object being approximately equal to one another is selected without using the traveling velocity of the vehicular object; and based on the relative-velocity components along the line of radar sight, and on the azimuthal angles, of the plurality of reflection points having been selected, the off-axis angle (φ) is autonomously calculated solely from the observed values based on radar waves.

摘要: A member for preventing feeding of a plurality of sheets at a time including a composition containing a resin component. Not less than 10 parts by mass nor more than 100 parts by mass of a polyester thermoplastic elastomer is contained in 100 parts by mass of the resin component. The polyester thermoplastic elastomer is composed of a hard segment and a soft segment. The hard segment consists of diester groups of aromatic dicarboxylic acid. The soft segment consists of ester groups of aliphatic carboxylic acid or aliphatic polyether groups.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a polymer dispersion-type liquid crystal display device having a high holding rate, a superior display quality and a high reliability; the liquid crystal display device according to the present invention composed of (i) a display electrode substrate, (ii) a counter electrode substrate and (iii) a liquid crystal layer interposed between said display electrode substrate and said counter electrode substrate, in which liquid crystals having a positive anisotropy in dielectric constant are dispersed in a transparent polymer; the transparent polymer is a photo cation polymerization setting-type transparent polymer and the liquid crystals are fluorine-containing aryl compounds.
