    摘要: A transmitting method includes: receiving a dimming ratio which is specified for a light source as a specified dimming ratio (S551); transmitting a signal encoded in a first mode by changing luminance while causing the light source to emit light at the specified dimming ratio when the specified dimming ratio is less than or equal to a first value; and transmitting the signal encoded in a second mode by changing the luminance while causing the light source to emit light at the specified dimming ratio when the specified dimming ratio is greater than the first value (S552). Here, a peak current value of the light source when the specified dimming ratio is greater than the first value and less than or equal to a second value is less than the peak current value of the light source when the specified dimming ratio is the first value.

    摘要: A display method capable of displaying an image valuable to a user is disclosed. The display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: Step S41 of capturing, by an imaging sensor, a still image lit up by a transmitter that transmits a signal by luminance change of light as a subject to obtain a captured image; Step S42 of decoding the signal from the captured image; and Step S43 of reading video corresponding to the decoded signal from a memory and superimposing the video on a target region corresponding to the subject in the captured image for display on a display. In Step S43, out of a plurality of images included in the video, the plurality of images is sequentially displayed from a leading image identical to the still image.

    摘要: A communication method for obtaining information from a subject includes obtaining image information of the subject in an image information-taking mode, obtaining visible light data of the subject in a visible light communication mode, and setting a shutter speed and an international organization for standardization (ISO) speed rating or a gain value for the visible light communication mode. The visible light communication mode is a different mode from the image information-taking mode. Also, in the setting, the shutter speed for the visible light communication mode is set to be faster than a shutter speed for the image information-taking mode, and the ISO speed rating or the gain value for the visible light communication mode is set to be greater than an ISO speed rating or a gain value for the image information-taking mode.

    摘要: An information communication method that obtains information from a subject includes setting an exposure time of an image sensor that, in an image obtained, a bright line corresponding to each of a plurality of exposure lines included in the image sensor appears, according to a change in luminance of the subject. A bright line image, in which the bright line is shown along with surroundings of the subject, is obtained by starting exposure of each of the exposure lines included in the image sensor at a sequentially different time. The bright line image is displayed and information is obtained when, in the bright line image, a part corresponding to the bright line is tapped, by demodulating data specified by a direction generally perpendicular to the exposure line in a pattern of the bright line corresponding to the tapped part.
