摘要: A communication system includes a cloud server that further includes a processor. The processor obtains sensor data associated with a defined indoor area and a plurality of optical nodes in defined indoor area. The processor further obtains location coordinates of the plurality of optical nodes in the defined indoor area. The processor then causes the master communication device to form a laser beam-based wireless communication network in the defined indoor area based on the obtained sensor data and the location coordinates of the plurality of optical nodes.

摘要: A user device may use a light communications system to detect, from a light source in a physical space, light in a pattern that represents encoded information. The light communications system may include a sensor and an emitter. The user device may decode the encoded information based on the pattern to cause an update associated with a virtual meeting. In some implementations, the update may include the user device joining the virtual meeting using a meeting identifier. In some implementations, the update may include adjusting a microphone or a speaker in the physical space. In some implementations, the update may include a pairing between the user device and a second device that enables bidirectional communication between the user device and the second device.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an infrared communication method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic apparatus. The method includes: transmitting a first infrared signal to a target communication terminal, where the first infrared signal is an infrared signal encoded based on a level duration; and in a case that a second infrared signal replied by the target communication terminal based on the first infrared signal is received within a first target duration, transmitting a third infrared signal to the target communication terminal. By using the above technical solution, a problem that bidirectional information interaction cannot be performed due to the inability of distinguishing bidirectional infrared signals in the infrared communication method in the related art is solved.

摘要: A load control device for controlling the power delivered from an AC power source to an electrical load is able to receive radio-frequency (RF) signals from a Wi-Fi-enabled device, such as a smart phone, via a wireless local area network. The load control device comprises a controllably conductive device adapted to be coupled in series between the source and the load, a controller for rendering the controllably conductive device conductive and non-conductive, and a Wi-Fi module operable to receive the RF signals directly from the wireless network. The controller controls the controllably conductive device to adjust the power delivered to the load in response to the wireless signals received from the wireless network. The load control device may further comprise an optical module operable to receive an optical signal, such that the controller may obtain an IP address from the received optical signal and control the power delivered to the load in response to a wireless signal received from the wireless network that includes the IP address.

摘要: An optical wireless communications, OWC, network (100) comprises a plurality of access points (120) for communicating with a plurality of endpoint devices (110) via modulated light. A control system (13) receives a report indicating a timeslot during which a first one of the access points (120a) detected an event indicative of interference and transmits an indication of the timeslot to at least one other access point (120b). The other access point (120b) provides to the control system (13) identifiers of any registered endpoint devices which used or are using that timeslot. If the control system (13) receives an identifier of a single endpoint device from the other access point (120b), it determines that endpoint device as a cause of the interference experienced at the first access point (120a). If the control system (13) receives identifiers of plural endpoint devices from other access points (120), it causes endpoint devices in the OWC network (100) to advertise their presence.

摘要: There is provided a method including receiving an incoming ID at a first wearable heads-up display (WHUD), which incoming ID is associated with a communicant device. The method also includes sending match data from the first WHUD to a match engine. The match data includes a first WHUD ID and the incoming ID. Moreover, the method includes receiving a match indicator at the first WHUD from the match engine. The match indicator is to indicate a match event between the first WHUD and the communicant device based on the match data. Furthermore, the method includes effecting communication between the first WHUD and the communicant device comprising at least one of sending a message from the first WHUD to the communicant device and receiving at the first WHUD a corresponding message from the communicant device. The first WHUD, and a method of operating the match engine are also described.
