摘要: The present invention advantageously provides a system for automatically delivering oxygen to a patient, including a sensor to measure an amount of oxygen in a bloodstream of a patient, a pneumatics subsystem and a control subsystem. The pneumatics subsystem includes an oxygen inlet, an air inlet, a gas mixture outlet, and a gas delivery mechanism to blend the oxygen and air to form a gas mixture having a delivered oxygen concentration, and to deliver the gas mixture to the patient. The control subsystem includes an input device to receive a desired concentration of oxygen in the bloodstream of the patient, a sensor interface to receive measurement data and status information associated with the measurement data from the sensor, a pneumatics subsystem interface to send commands to, and receive data from, the pneumatics subsystem, and a processor to control the delivered oxygen concentration based on the desired oxygen concentration, the measurement data and the status information.

摘要: A method is described for communicating among multiple devices over a shared communication medium. The method includes, in a schedule among multiple subsets of the devices that includes at least one respective time slot for each subset, transmitting from at least one of the devices in a given subset a presence signal associated with the given subset within a time slot for the given subset. A presence signal associated with a given subset is configured to indicate the presence of at least one device in the given subset. The method also includes communicating among devices in a given subset based on presence signals detected from one or more devices in at least one different subset.

摘要: An apparatus for moving a slide-out compartment of a vehicle. The slide-out compartment is slidably received in an opening in the side of the vehicle. The apparatus includes a rotatable member having a distal end wherein the rotatable member is rotatably mounted to one of the slide-out or the opening so as to rotate the member about a horizontal axis parallel to a first plane substantially containing the opening. A drive rotates the rotatable member. A slotted bearing portion is mounted to the other one of the slide-out or the opening. Rotation of the rotatable member causes the distal end to bear against so as to slide along the slot in the bearing portion to selectively extend or retract the slide-out compartment relative to the vehicle. The rotatable member and drive may be mounted adjacent to the opening in the vehicle wherein the bearing portion is mounted in an end wall of the slide-out.
