摘要: A jacket that includes a first portion, a second portion, and an interface. The interface is movably coupled to the first portion and the second portion. The first portion comprises multiple medical modules. The multiple medical modules include at least one medical sensor and a physiological signal conduit for transferring a physiological signal from an inner side of the first portion to an exterior side of the first portion. The first and second portions are configured to be detachably coupled to a mobile phone. When the jacket is at a closed position then the first portion, the second portion and the interface define an inner space that is configured to receive the mobile phone and the first and second portions contact opposite sides of the mobile phone. When the jacket is at an open position, then only one of the first and second portions contacts the mobile phone.

摘要: A system for detecting subsurface blood in a region of interest during a surgical procedure includes an image capture device that captures an image stream of the region of interest and a light source that illuminates the region of interest. A controller applies at least one image processing filter to the image stream, which decomposes the image stream into a plurality of color space frequency bands, generate a plurality of color filtered bands from the plurality of color space frequency bands, adds each band in the plurality of color space frequency bands to a corresponding band in the plurality of color filtered bands to generate a plurality of augmented bands, and a reconstruction filter that generates the augmented image stream from the plurality of augmented bands, which is displayed to a user during the surgical procedure.

摘要: For each biological information, a caution level range and a warning level range as to the biological information value are stored. When the acquired biological information value of the biological information of a patient falls within the caution level range, a notice of the status of the patient is given to a first notice destination. When the aforementioned biological information value falls within the warning level range, the notice of the status of the patient is given to a second notice destination. Thus, by switching the notice destinations based on the status of the patient, it is possible to provide a patient status notification device or the like that can appropriately and promptly perform notification.

The ceria nanoparticle compositions may be combined with a conductive material (e.g., mixed with) to form the cathode or the reference electrode, or the ceria nanoparticle compositions may be deposited over conductive material to form the cathode or the reference electrode. Electrochemical in vivo sensors for monitoring the concentration of an analyte having a reference electrode and/or a cathode that includes a ceria nanoparticle composition, and methods for monitoring an analyte concentration using the electrochemical sensors are also described. Methods of making in vivo electrochemical analyte sensors having a reference electrode and/or a cathode that includes a ceria nanoparticle composition are also provided.

The system includes a cable assembly couplable to the circuitry of the hospital bed. The cable assembly has power conductors and at least one data conductor. The cable assembly also has a plug including a first power coupler coupled to the power conductors and a first data coupler coupled to the at least one data conductor. The system also includes a second data coupler mountable adjacent the standard AC power outlet. The second data coupler is configured to couple to the first data coupler when the first power coupler is coupled to the standard AC power outlet.
