Abstract: An integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node may establish a first connection with a first base station, establish a second connection with a second base station, and receive an indication, from the first base station or the second base station, that indicates at least one of the first base station or the second base station is to serve as an IAB donor for the IAB node. The first base station may indicate to the second base station, based on the second connection being established with the IAB node, that at least one of a first base station or the second base station is to serve as an IAB donor for the IAB node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may detect and report blockage conditions based on measuring signal strengths of reference signals. A UE may determine a slew rate for the signal strength, corresponding to a rate of change of a signal strength parameter (e.g., a reference signal received power (RSRP) or a received signal strength indicator (RSSI)) with respect to time, and report the slew rate to a base station to indicate signal strength degradation (e.g., due to a blockage). In some examples, the UE may define multiple slew rates associated with different rates of change of the signal strength parameter with respect to time. When the UE crosses a level of slew rate, the UE may indicate this to the base station to initiate mitigation procedures. In some examples, the techniques described herein may be extended to reporting slew rates for multiple beams.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information associated with a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set, including a first quantity of SRS resources, and a second SRS resource set, including a second quantity of SRS resources. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a spatial division multiplexing communication, the DCI indicating a first one or more SRS resources, associated with a first set of layers, and a second one or more SRS resources, associated with a second set of layers, from the first SRS resource set and/or the second SRS resource set based on: a dynamic switching indicator, a first SRS resource indicator (SRI), a second SRI, the first quantity of SRS resources, the second quantity of SRS resources, and/or a maximum rank. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a user equipment (UE) or a component thereof. The apparatus may include a processing system configured to: determine a Power Management Maximum Power Reduction (P-MPR) value associated with an identifier (ID) of at least one of an antenna panel or a beam, and calculate an output power threshold associated with the ID of the at least one of the antenna panel or the beam based on the P-MPR value. The apparatus may further include a first interface configured to output data for transmission to a network node, the transmission being based on the output power threshold.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a radio link monitoring configuration for a first serving cell that indicates a configuration of a first and second set of beam-failure-detection reference signals (BFD-RSs) associated with the first serving cell and a second serving cell, respectively. The UE may measure, in accordance with the radio link monitoring configuration, one or more BFD-RSs of the first set of BFD-RSs or the second set of BFD-RSs. The UE may determine a beam failure associated with at least one of the first serving cell or the second serving cell based at least in part on measuring the one or more BFD-RSs of the first set of BFD-RSs or the second set of BFD-RSs, respectively. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for random access channel (RACH) configuration. Certain aspects are directed to a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes: receiving, from a base station, a message comprising random access channel (RACH) configurations including a first RACH configuration indicating a first set of resources for reduced capability UEs supporting at least one first capability, a second RACH configuration indicating a second set of resources for coverage enhanced UEs supporting at least one second capability, and a third RACH configuration indicating a third set of resources for UEs supporting the at least one first capability and the at least one second capability; and transmitting a RACH message based on at least one of the RACH configurations.
