    摘要： An electrical terminal 10 has two electrical connectors 16 and 18 carried by upper 12 and lower 14 insulating body members by which it is clamped to a mounting 84. Each connector has a terminal hole 64 and carries an insulating knob 66, 68, which is screw adjustable over an upper length 52 of the connector to open and close the terminal hole 64 while providing an insulating cover for the upper length of each connector. The body member 12 extends over the connectors 16 and 18 to encompass the terminal holes 64 and has access holes 38 and 40 which coincide with the respective terminal holes 64. The upper body member 12 has cavities 20 and 22 within which the insulating knobs 66 and 68 are accommodated respectively as they are adjusted longitudinally on their respective connectors. The structure and dimensions of the terminal 10 preferably ensure that the connectors in the body 12 and knobs are inaccessible to a test finger when the terminal is mounted on a housing.

    摘要： A portable, power-operated sabre saw having a power driven saw blade holder which is curved and which is mounted in the sabre saw housing for reciprocation along a curved path that is determined by its curvature to impart to a blade carried thereby a component of cutting stroke travel that is in the direction in which the blade is urged against a workpiece to cut the workpiece. Another feature disclosed herein is a counterweight which dynamically counterbalances the mass of the saw blade holder and the saw blade and which is recessed to receive a power driven gear that supplies the motion for reciprocating the holder and the counterweight. The counterweight is confined between and guided for reciprocating motion by opposed side wall regions of a longitudinally split housing, and a guide pin, which is trapped between the halves of the split housing, extends through a slot in one end of the counterweight to provide a further guide for the counterweight. Also disclosed herein is two-part bearing holder assembly in which a locating proturberance is formed on one part to transversely locate the second part, but which permits relative axial displacement of the second part to enable the second part to be axially positioned by engagement with a spherically contoured surface of a bearing that is clamped between the two bearing holder parts. The second part mounts a gear supporting idler shaft to ensure that the axis of the idler shaft is parallel with the axis of the bearing seat on the second part. Another feature disclosed herein is a sabre saw blade chuck assembly that so distributes operating forces developed during sawing as to reduce the likelihood of structure failure of the blade holder.

    摘要： A vermiculite insulated tube furnace is heated by a helically-wound resistance wire positioned within a helical groove on the surface of a ceramic cylinder, that in turn is surroundingly disposed about a doubly slotted stainless steel cylindrical liner. For uniform heating, the pitch of the helix is of shorter length over the two end portions of the ceramic cylinder. The furnace is of large volume, provides uniform temperature, offers an extremely precise programmed heating capability, features very rapid cool-down, and has a modest electrical power requirement.

The plastic liner is manufactured from a cold formable thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer material that can be formed to the desired material configuration of the vessel. In a fuel tank the annular structural elements of the tank can be smoothly enveloped to provide a seamless, fluid tight liner having superior physical and chemical properties.A method of cold forming the plastic liner from a tubular element to achieve a seamless liner for a containment vessel is disclosed.
