摘要： The present invention provides a cot assembly that includes a frame, supporting corner pieces and bedding material. The frame is preferably of a one or two piece construction and is shaped into a perimeter defining an interior area. Corner pieces support the frame above an external support surface. The bedding material extends across the interior of the frame and into the corner pieces without any gaps between the material, the frame and corner pieces, thereby protecting against injury which could otherwise result from the presence of such gaps. The continuous frame maintains the cot's rigidity while the corner pieces lower the cot's profile for stacking. The cot includes at least a number of corner pieces corresponding to the corners of the polygonal shape. A pedestal extends downwardly from each corner piece to engage the floor or other supporting surface. In a preferred form, each of the corner pieces includes top and bottom portions defining a slot therebetween for receiving the bedding material. In a further aspect of the present invention, the cot assemblies can be stacked. Preferably a plurality of stackable cots can be vertically stacked such that each pocket in a cot assembly slidably receives a corresponding pedestal of the cot assembly placed atop it. Further, cot assembly frame has a height and the height of the stacked cots is only increased by approximately the height of the frame each time a cot is placed atop the stack.

摘要： An infant seat for use in a number of environments including shopping carts, pre-school nurseries, and other uses is disclosed. When used with shopping carts, the infant seat includes a contoured bucket seat which has a substantial portion that is supported within the confines of a shopping cart with an infant positioned to face a user of the shopping cart. The contoured bucket seat is capable of being pivoted substantially outside of the confines of the shopping cart to facilitate nesting of adjacent shopping carts within the respective confines of each other. When used in a pre-school nursery environment, the infant seat is adapted to be mounted on a supporting structure. In other environments, the infant seat may be used by itself. The contoured bucket seat forming the infant seat is integrally formed from a closedcell flex foam material which provides substantial strength and durability while also being soft enough to enable an infant to be comfortably positioned within the contoured bucket seat.

摘要： A nestable cot (C1) has a web (3) of material on which an occupant of the cot can lay. The web is attached to a frame (F) which includes a plurality of rods (R1-R4) one of which extends along each side of the web. End connectors (5) are provided for connecting respective ends of adjacent rods to interconnect the rods and complete the frame. Each end connector includes an elongate housing (7) having an opening (25, 27) at each end in which respective ends of adjacent rods are received. The cot is supported in an elevated position off the ground by a pedestal (33) formed intermediate the length of the housing. The pedestal projects inwardly from an inner face (19) of the housing and extends downwardly a distance sufficient to elevate the web of material off the ground. A pad (49) is attachable to the bottom of the pedestal. The cot can be sat upon another cot (C2) with the base (51) of the pad of the upper cot resting upon the upper surface (35) of the pedestal of the lower cot whereby the upper cot nests in the lower cot.

The binder composition comprises edible solid particles including a protein source coated with an edible fat. The presence of the fat as a coating on the edible particles masks flavors arising from the protein. 摘要： In certain preferred embodiments, the present invention provides a cot assembly that includes side pieces, supporting end pieces and bedding material. Preferably the cot assembly holds the end pieces a spaced apart distance, and in one feature allows a side piece to be selectively released. In one embodiment, the end pieces move towards each other to release a side piece, optionally by sliding a side piece through an end piece channel. In one preferred embodiment, the bedding material is mounted to and retained by the end pieces and extends across the interior of the cot to overlap or enclose the side pieces without any gaps between the material, the side pieces and the end pieces. In other embodiments, the invention includes an improved method for attaching the material to the end pieces and an improved cot assembly method. In a preferred option, the bedding material is continuously attached to the end piece along a portion of an end piece. In an alternate optional feature, the end pieces have a curved profile, with a middle portion higher than the end portions.
