    摘要： An armrest structure includes a support and a body rotatably mounted on the support. The support includes a pair of protrusions and the body includes a notched channel for receiving the protrusions. By rotating the body on the support, the protrusions are repositioned in the notched channel between selected stable use positions. The notches are located on both sides of the channel such that the body can be located in a first position with the first surface on the body facing generally upwardly for use, and a second position with the second surface on the body facing generally upwardly for use. By varying the surfaces on the body, and also the engagement of the protrusion with the notched channel, various spacial positions and functional surfaces can be selectively positioned for use.

    摘要： A chair includes a tubular arm support, an armrest, a lateral adjustment mechanism and a vertical height adjustment mechanism. The lateral adjustment mechanism includes a plurality of nested slides. One slide is connected to the vertical height adjustment mechanism. An uppermost slide supports the arm rest. The slides are adjustable laterally with respect to each other to position the armrest with respect to the chair. The vertical height adjustment mechanism includes a tubular liner insertable into the arm support. The liner defines a bore and a plurality of vertically spaced notches or grooves. A latch tube telescopes within the bore of the liner. An upper end of the latch tube is connected to the lateral adjustment mechanism. The latch is pivotally positioned within the latch tube. The latch includes a latch end movable into and out of engagement with the notches. An actuator engages the latch to move it between locked and unlocked positions.

    摘要： A floor track system is provided to route utilities to workstations in open office plans, and the like. The floor track system includes a plurality of individual floor track segments, each of which has a hollow interior in which the utilities are housed and isolated. Each floor track segment also includes feet which independently support the track segment on the floor in a generally upright orientation, and an exterior shape which physically mates with the furniture units in the workstation, without supporting the same. Opposite ends of the floor track segments are detachably interconnected in a predetermined configuration to form a continuous, self-contained and self-supported utility raceway that is physically separate from the furniture units, yet dimensionally cooperates and blends in with them. Utility taps can be located throughout the floor track system to provide utilities to each of the workstations as required.

    摘要： A task chair, including a backrest assembly and a seat assembly pivotally coupled both to one another and to side portions of a fixed yoke member for synchronized movement, in which the seat of the seat assembly moves upwardly and forwardly concurrently with recline of the backrest of the backrest assembly. The chair further includes a tension assembly including an elongate tension member, such as a leaf spring, secured at one end thereof to the yoke member, and a contact member, such as a contact roller, adjustably mounted to the seat assembly. The contact member engages the tension member such that the tension member resists recline of the backrest assembly and concurrent movement of the seat assembly from their initial positions, and also provides a restoring force which tends to move the backrest to its initial upright position and the seat to its initial rearward and lowered position. The contact member is adjustable with respect to the tension member in order to vary the effective moment arm acting upon the tension member, thereby varying the pre-load of the tension member and the resistance provided by the tension member.
