The lower edge of the screen can extend higher than the height of the top front surface of an office desk with which the system is used. A computer display mount for holding at least one computer display. The frame holds the display mount at a height relative to the floor, the wall, the ceiling or the desk top. The frame can hold the display mount at a height relative to the base of the frame. The system can fix the relative height between the screen and the display mount while the height of the screen and the display is being adjusted.

Each stand, in use, has: a ground-engaging base; an upright extending from the base within a channel; and a support arm extending transversely from the upright through the slot for which the channel is provided. The office panel with the display screen located therein greatly enhances the amount of work space available at an associated work station, which otherwise would have a CRT supported on the work surface. The depth of the work surface can be cut down if the work station is primarily used for a dedicated data entry station or computer work station. In other cases, the computer monitor screen is a flat thin profile screen mounted on an adjustable arm supported at a position adjacent the panel whereby the spacing of the screen from the panel is adjustable by varying the effective length of the arm.

摘要： An improved and more versatile space divider system for open office interiors includes as a major component a structure beam or spine supported at each end by vertically adjustable legs. Feet on the legs provide the required lateral stability to support or hang components such as work surfaces, filing systems and the like from the beam. Each beam includes two enclosed electrical ducts on the top thereof superjacent work surface height, such ducts being provided for power and communication wiring respectively, with the latter being above the former and laterally enlarged. The power wiring duct is prewired with outlets on both sides, while the communications wiring duct includes both lateral and top access. The legs have a smooth exterior surface yet permit beams to be connected thereto at a wide variety of angles. Enclosures or fillets for the beams and legs permit the ducts to pass through the legs fully enclosed. Each beam may be provided with a midpoint connection so that one beam may be connected to and extend normal to the other without a leg beneath the point of connection. Posts extend upwardly from the beam from which hanger bars are secured for supporting further accessories or acoustical panels. Accessories such as work surfaces may quickly hook onto a recessed hook channel in the beam, such accessories having a movable locking tab to secure the hook edge to the beam.

摘要： A frame connector system for connecting adjacent frames together to form a wall panel system for offices, for example, comprises rigid frames which have elongated stiles extending the length of opposite sides, each stile having an edge face with an indented channel running along the length and shaped to form a hollow rectangular channel with an abutting edge face of an adjacent frame stile. A rectangular elongated draw tube fits snugly within the rectangular channel between the stiles. A U-shaped draw nut on top of the draw tube has legs which fit within openings in the stiles and engage wedging surfaces on the stiles to draw the stiles tightly together as the draw tube is moved upwardly with respect to the stiles. A cap screw is threaded into the draw nut and engages tongues on the stile to provide a mechanical advantage in shifting the draw tube upwardly with respect to the stiles. Clips are provided within the indented channels of the stiles to project through openings in the draw tube and engage the draw tube as the draw tube is moved upwardly with respect to the stiles. Rigid junction connectors are provided with the same connector system to connect panels together at various angular relationships and to connect multiple panels together.
