Abstract:
A protector and a wire harness that have piercing resistance, give shielding capability to the protector, enable reducing the number of man-hours in human labor, and are low cost. In the protector, foaming urethane layers that have a predetermined thickness and contain a high magnetic permeability metal powder are respectively formed on a recessed surface portion of a protector main body and an inner surface portion of a cover portion, and foil films are respectively formed on an outer surface portion of the protector main body and an outer surface portion of the cover portion. The wire harness is formed by using the cover portion to close the opening portion of the recessed surface portion of the protector main body in which a group of electrical lines is inserted and accommodated. Pieces of adhesive tape are wrapped around the protector main body and the cover portion to fasten them.
Abstract:
A heat-shrinkable slitted tube includes a tube main body capable of bending into a tube shape and which shrinks due to application of heat; and a heat-resistant tape which, in a closed state where the tube main body is deformed so as to close a slit extending in a length direction, fastens together areas proximate to two end portions of the tube main body so as to maintain the closed state. In the heat-shrinkable slitted tube, in a case where, by affixing the heat-resistant tape to the tube main body such that one of the end portions is positioned at a short-direction center portion of an indicator of the heat-resistant tape, the other end portion is brought together with the end portion to achieve the closed state, the heat-resistant tape is affixed so as to intervene between the areas proximate to the two end portions.
Abstract:
A low-cost water blocking structure for an insulation-coated wire that can ensure high water blocking ability and favorable workability as well as a wire harness are provided. A water blocking structure for an insulation-coated wire includes a heat-shrinkable tubular protective member that is closed at one end by a stopper and that accommodates an intermediate portion of an insulation-coated wire, and a resin material that is accommodated in the protective member and that penetrates the intermediate portion of the insulation-coated wire. Slit portions are formed in a coating of the insulation-coated wire within the protective member, the slit portions extending in a direction that crosses the axis of the insulation-coated wire on opposite sides of the intermediate portion with respect to a radial direction, and a water blocking agent penetrates the intermediate portion via these slit portions.
Abstract:
A waterproof structure for stopping water between bare wires of multiple circuits stopping water between bare wires all together for plural covered wires is provided. It is provided with plural covered wires each of which has a stripped wire exposed part formed by removing a cover material in an intermediate portion thereof, and is folded over at the stripped wire exposed part; a non-electrically conductive wire support supporting plural covered wires so as to prevent short-circuits between the stripped wire exposed parts of plural covered wires; a container accommodating portions of plural covered wires supported by the wire support and the stripped wire exposed part; and a thermosetting waterproofing agent 40 filled into the container to immerse at least the stripped wire exposed parts of plural covered wires and cured to immerse the stripped wire exposed part and clearance between plural covered wires.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a waterproofing structure for an insulation-coated electrical wire that includes a tubular protection member and a resin material that is accommodated in the protection member. An insulation-coated electrical wire passes through the protection member, and the protection member includes a stopper that surrounds one intermediate end of a coating tube that is located on one end side of an exposed conductor section of the insulation-coated electrical wire, and a heat-shrinkable tube that is shrunk to a predetermined shrunk diameter, and closely fits to the stopper on the inner circumference on one end side of the heat-shrinkable tube. The resin material is made of a thermosetting resin that is cured between the protection member and the insulation-coated electrical wire while closely fitting to the stopper, and pair of intermediate ends of the coating tube on both ends of the exposed conductor section.
