    摘要： A terminal-equipped wire includes a wire and a connection terminal. The connection terminal includes: a bottom plate on which the wire is disposed; an electric connection portion which is formed at a front end of the bottom plate and to which another component or the like is connected; a conductor connection portion which is formed at the rear of the bottom plate and to which a conductor of the wire is connected; and a connection portion formed in a portion between the electric connection portion and the conductor connection portion in the bottom plate. The connection portion includes a pair of terminal pieces projecting outward in a width direction from both side edges in the width direction of the bottom plate, and is formed in a state where the pair of terminal pieces are folded inward in the width direction.

    摘要： A method for manufacturing a power distribution member includes preparing a solid wire with a circular cross-sectional shape, pressing to a portion of the solid wire in a pressing direction orthogonal to the solid wire to cause plastic deformation, thereby forming a pair of small curvature surfaces on an outer circumference of the solid wire on both sides in the pressing direction, the small curvature surfaces having a smaller curvature than an outer circumferential surface of the solid wire before the pressing and facing the pressing direction, preparing a terminal metal piece including a pair of facing walls facing each other and a coupling wall coupling between ends of the pair of facing walls, inserting the solid wire after the pressing between the pair of facing walls of the terminal metal piece in such a manner that one of the pair of small curvature surfaces faces one of the pair of facing walls and the other of the pair of small curvature surfaces faces the other of the pair of facing walls, and, after the inserting, crimping the pair of facing walls onto the solid wire.

    摘要： A female terminal for an electrical connector may generally include a socket with an opening for receiving a male terminal, a first pair of contacts, a second pair of contacts, a pair of crimping members, and positioning tabs. The socket may be defined by a pair of opposing sidewalls, a top, and a bottom, at least in examples where the socket is generally rectangular. The first and second pairs of contacts may be disposed along the pair of opposing sidewalls, projecting at least partially into the socket configured to contact and exert substantially the same normal force on a male terminal that is inserted into the socket. The pair of crimping members can be utilized to secure a wire to the female terminal, and the positioning tabs may be utilized to secure the female terminal within the electrical connector.
