A wire harness includes coated electric wires that have exposed conductor portions obtained by removing portions of coatings and are arranged such that the exposed conductor portions are close to each other, a heat-shrinkable tube that surrounds the exposed conductor portions and adjacent end portions of the coatings, a splicing terminal that is integrally held in the heat-shrinkable tube and is close to the exposed conductor portions, and a soft brazing material that solidifies in a state in which voids between the splicing terminal and the exposed conductor portions are filled with the soft brazing material.
Abstract:
In a splice connection member, a core wire holder is integrally formed on an interior of each of a plurality of depressions into which coated wires can be guided. A plurality of pressure blades are provided opposite each other on a wire introduction opening side of the depressions, the pair of pressure blades separated by a distance smaller than an inlet diameter of the wire introduction opening. Each of the pressure blades includes a plurality of blade tips separated by a distance in an axis direction of the coated wires smaller than a thickness of the coating, and the core wire holder includes a plurality of pressure portions. A communicating groove is formed in each of the depressions so as to be open on two ends, passing between the plurality of pairs of blade tips, the communicating groove extending in a circumference direction of each of the coated wires.

A protector and wire harness according to which, if human labor is used to place a group of electrical lines on a flat plate and wrap adhesive tape around the group of electrical lines and tape fixing portions, it is possible to enclose and protect the group of electrical lines with the flat plate without depending on human labor. The protector is made of a shape-memory polymer sheet with Tg set to a temperature higher than the high temperature reached in summer, and is constituted by a tube-forming flat surface portion and tape fixing portions. The tube-forming flat surface portion is formed with a rectangular shape having a width for folding into a tube shape that allows a group of electrical lines to be inserted and concealed therein, and is shaped as a flat plate with a tape fixing portion extending from at least one end in the lengthwise direction.

A wire harness includes a plurality of coated electric wires; a connector terminal including a connection portion, a first barrel portion, and a second barrel portion; a connector configured to lock and store the connection portion; a rubber seal including a small-diameter tubular portion, a middle tubular portion having a spiral contour, and a large-diameter tubular portion, where the small-diameter tubular portion is secured by the second barrel portion along with an end portion of the insulation coating material. The middle tubular portion and the large-diameter tubular portion are force-fitted into a terminal insertion hole, and a rear holder is secured to the connector with the rubber seal pressed toward the terminal insertion hole, compressing the middle tubular portion axially. A waterproofing agent is applied to an outer surface of the middle tubular portion and is cured filling gaps between the middle tubular portion and the terminal insertion hole.

A sheet for forming a radiant heat shielding corrugated tube as well as a wire harness that provide protection from a metal edge and radiant heat shielding. A sheet for forming a radiant heat shielding corrugated tube includes a corrugated tube-forming sheet base material formed of a synthetic resin sheet that can be bent into a cylindrical shape through which an electric wire group passes with a gap left around the electric wire group, the sheet base material having groove portions on an outer surface side when bent into the cylindrical shape, the groove portions extending in a circumferential direction and being arranged at required intervals in an axial direction, a metal thin film formed on an outer surface of the sheet base material, and a urethane foam agent layer formed on an inner surface of the sheet base material.
Abstract:
A wire harness electrical line exterior structure has favorable workability in a wire harness mounting task, prevents unnecessary constricting force from being applied to an electrical line group by an exterior member after mounting, and allows an improvement in the bendability and the durability of the electrical line group. The wire harness electrical line exterior structure includes an electrical line group including electrical lines, and an exterior member enclosing the electrical line group. The exterior member includes a shape memory material attached to the electrical line group in a first exterior orientation adjacent thereto. The shape memory material is molded so as to be capable of returning to a predetermined remembered shape. When the shape memory material is heated so as to return to the remembered shape, the exterior member increases in width from the first exterior orientation to a second exterior orientation separated from the electrical line group.
Abstract:
Provided is a wire harness having a shielding structure that can achieve a required shielding effect while sufficiently meeting the requirements of weight reduction and cost reduction. The wire harness includes a wire group constituted by a plurality of wires and a retaining member that surrounds the wire group such that the wire group is retained in the form of a bundle, wherein the wire group is configured to include a first wire composed of a linear conductor that is located toward the center of the wire group, a tube-shaped wire sheathing that surrounds the first wire, and a second wire and a third wire that are composed of an opposing pair of split tube-shaped conductors that are insulated from each other with the first wire and the wire sheathing being interposed therebetween.
Abstract:
A band clip includes a binding band portion and a clip portion. The clip portion has a flange portion, a column portion, four inclined pieces inclined relative to the column portion, and a connecting piece connecting the column portion and each inclined piece. The clip portion is constituted of a shape memory resin and acquires a memorized shape such that a connecting distance between the column portion and each inclined piece becomes shorter than at normal temperature. When fitting the clip portion to a through hole, a second end portion near a vehicle body panel bends so that the inclined piece is locked to an edge of the through hole. When removing the clip portion from the through hole, a distance between a lower end portion of the inclined piece and a central axis of the column portion reaches a size that can pass through the through hole.
