Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including first and second areas, and a bending portion between the first and second areas; and a cover window on the display panel. The first area is between the cover window and the second area when the display panel is in a bent state, the first bending portion is between the cover window and the third bending portion when the display panel is in the bent state, and the bending portion includes a first bending portion extending from the first area, a second bending portion extending from the first bending portion, and a third bending portion between the second bending portion and the second area. A radius of curvature of the second bending portion is less than that of the first bending portion, and the radius of curvature of the second bending portion is less than that of the third bending portion.

The undercut structure is inside the groove in the substrate. The undercut structure includes a sacrificial metal pattern having a first width and at least one insulating layer pattern having a second width greater than the first width. The functional module is in the opening of the substrate.

The structure of the display device provides a bezel with a reduced width and resistance to pixel damage during formation of the sealant.
