    Abstract: A method of controlling an element of a display device is provided. At least one processor of the display device may be configured to determine a first chromaticity value corresponding to a first grayscale value of the element of the display device, and determine a first luminance value corresponding to the first chromaticity value, based on the first chromaticity value and a target with respect to a relationship between chromaticity and luminance. In addition, the at least one processor of the display device may be configured to determine a second grayscale value corresponding to the first luminance value, determine a second chromaticity value corresponding to the second grayscale value, determine a second luminance value corresponding to the second chromaticity value, based on the second chromaticity value and the target, and determine chromaticity and luminance calibration coefficients, based on the second luminance value.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a processor. The display driver circuit is configured to identify an event for a display on the display panel. The display driver circuit is configured to, in response to the event of a first type that executes the display through the memory, change, at a timing before a reference time from a start timing of a scan for the display, a state of a signal provided from the display driver circuit to the processor from a first state indicating to enable an image transmission to the display driver circuit to a second state indicating to disable the image transmission. The display driver circuit is configured to, in response to the event of a second type that executes the display by bypassing the memory, change, at the start timing, the state of the signal provided from the display driver circuit to the processor from the first state to the second state.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a processor. The electronic device includes a display including a display driver circuit and a display panel. The electronic device includes a first path connecting the display driver circuit to the processor. The electronic device includes a second path connecting the display driver circuit to the processor and separate from the first path. The processor is configured to transmit, based on a first cycle, via the second path to the display driver circuit, a pulse signal to synchronize, with a first time period in the processor used to display an image transmitted via the first path to the display driver circuit on the display panel, the first time period in the display driver circuit used to display the image on the display panel. The processor is configured to change, based on a second cycle different from the first cycle, a waveform of the pulse signal transmitted from the first cycle from a first waveform to a second waveform to synchronize, with a second time period in the processor used for the display of the image, the second time period in the display driver circuit used for the display of the image.
