    Abstract: A method in a wireless station in communication with an access point over a communication channel includes receiving a channel estimation matrix; determining a beamforming matrix using the channel estimation matrix, the beamforming matrix being generated for a plurality of down-sampled feedback indices; the beamforming matrix including beamforming weights for one or more antennas associated with the access point, each beamforming weight being a complex value including an amplitude and a phase; setting the phase of the beamforming weight for a last antenna associated with the last feedback index of the beamforming matrix to zero and rotating the phase of each beamforming weight for each of the other antennas; performing smoothing of the beamforming matrix for each feedback index by normalizing each column vector of the beamforming matrix; compressing the smoothed beamforming matrix; and providing the smoothed beamforming matrix as output.

    Abstract: A method of providing multi-link operation channel access in a multi-link network includes initiating, by a multi-link station, a first backoff countdown and a second backoff countdown associated with a first link and a second link of the multi-link network, respectively, receiving a first frame on the first link, suspending the second backoff countdown, decoding the first frame to identify the first frame as one of an inter-network frame, an intra-network uplink frame, or an intra-network downlink frame, and in response to identifying the first frame as the inter-network frame or the intra-network uplink frame, resuming the second backoff countdown.

    Abstract: A system and method for operating a link. In some embodiments, the method includes transmitting a first quantity of data, using a first number of spatial streams, and a first bandwidth, receiving N1 acknowledgment signals, N1 being a nonnegative integer; receiving N2 negative acknowledgment signals, N2 being a nonnegative integer; adjusting an estimated signal to interference and noise ratio for the first number of spatial streams and the first bandwidth, based on N1 and N2; estimating a first throughput for the first number of spatial streams and the first bandwidth; estimating a second throughput for a second number of spatial streams and a second bandwidth; determining whether the second throughput exceeds the first throughput; and in response to determining that the second throughput exceeds the first throughput, transmitting a second quantity of data, using the second number of spatial streams, and the second bandwidth.

    Abstract: A method for allowing wireless communication between an access point and a wireless station in a wireless communication network includes: providing at least one from a combination of a 2.4 GHz frequency band and a 5 GHz frequency band; providing a frequency band including a 6 GHz frequency band for allowing wireless data communication; assigning a first data communication channel having a first frequency bandwidth in the frequency band including the 6 GHz frequency band between the access point and the wireless station; and transmitting data packets between the access point and the wireless station via the first data communication channel in the frequency band including the 6 GHz frequency band. Each of the 2.4 GHz frequency band and the 5 GHz frequency band includes a plurality of subchannels having a first base frequency bandwidth of 20 MHz, and the frequency band including the 6 GHz frequency band includes a plurality of subchannels having a second base frequency bandwidth that is larger than the first base frequency bandwidth.

A criterion is detected, and one of the plurality of radio links is selected as a selected radio link based on detecting the criterion.
