Abstract: Systems and methods for communicating are described. According to some embodiments, a first device, with at least one second device in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system may allocate at least one resource unit (RU) to the at least one second device and generate an RU allocation subfield defining the allocated at least one RU. In some examples, the allocation of the at least one RU includes allocating a single RU or a multi-RU to a second device and setting a maximum of one multiplexed second device in a single RU or a multi-RU corresponding to 242 or less subcarriers.

Abstract: A wireless communication method, by a first apparatus, includes receiving a first Physical Layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) from a second apparatus, extracting a first field from a first signal field included in the first PPDU, and identifying the number of symbols in the second signal field included in the first PPDU based on a value of the first field, wherein, when the first field has a first value, the identifying the number of symbols in the second signal field includes identifying that the number of symbols in the second signal field is equal to or greater than a first number.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a wireless communication method. The wireless communication method includes a first apparatus communicating with at least one second apparatus in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system. The wireless communication method generates an aggregated physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) including a first null data packet (NDP) based on a first protocol standard and a second NDP based on a second protocol standard and transmits the aggregated PPDU to the at least one second apparatus, wherein the first NDP and the second NDP have a same duration in different frequency bands.
