摘要： An electrical connector for connecting a sheet-like connection member comprises an insulated housing (1) comprising a first sidewall (12), a second sidewall (13) parallel to and spaced from the first sidewall and a receiving cavity (10) between the first and second sidewalls, the first sidewall defining a plurality of receiving channels (14) arranged side-by-side to be in communication with the receiving cavity; and a plurality of conductive terminals (2, 3) disposed in the housing, each terminal comprising a contact beam (21, 31) received in the corresponding receiving channels and having a contact portion exposed to the receiving cavity for electrically contacting with the sheet-like connection member. The second sidewall defines a plurality of slugged grooves (17) in communication with the receiving cavity for providing a balanced force exerting on the sheet-like connection member. The slugged grooves and the receiving channels are staggered.

摘要： An electrical connector comprises an insulated housing (1) defines a receiving cavity (10) and a pair of latching portions respectively formed at longwise ends thereof; a plurality of conductive terminals (2, 2′) disposed in the housing and each has a contact portion exposed to the receiving cavity; a stuffer member (3) mounted to the housing and moving between an open position and a closed position; and a pair of metal strengthen member (4) mounted to the housing. The stuffer member comprises a main plate (31), a tongue plate (32) extending from a middle portion of the main plate and a pair of latching arms (33) extending from two longwise ends of the main plate to locate beside the tongue plate. Each latching arm has a latch (331) bending inward from its free end. The metal strengthen member has a stopping tab (42) cooperating with the latching portion to engage with the latch of the latching arm when the stuffer member in the open position.

The bottom wall of the insulated housing has a plurality of channels (114) extending therethough in a vertical direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction for receiving the second contacts therein and a plurality of rib portions (118) each respectively located between every two adjacent channels.

摘要： A connector (100) for connecting a sheet-like electronic member includes a housing (10); a number of terminals (20) loaded in the housing, said terminal including a first and second beams (21 and 22) defining a gap therebetween; and an actuator (30) pivotally movable between an open position and a closed position relative to the housing. The actuator is provided with cam portions (310) engaging with the terminals so as to broaden the gap between the first and second beams when the actuator is at the open position for facilitating the sheet-like electronic member to enter, and to allow said gap to narrow when the actuator is at the closed position so that the sheet-like electronic member can be clasped and retained by the first and second beams, and retaining portions (311) adapted for engaging with and further retaining the sheet-like electronic member.

The shell (3) comprises a pair of opposite sidewalls (31, 32) and a pair of endwalls (33) interconnecting with the side walls, thereby defining a receiving space surrounding the housing. Each endwall (33) defines a pair of locking portions (34,35) respectively on opposite sides and a holding portion (36) on a rear portion. Each retaining device (4) comprises a main body (41) with a nut (40) therein and an extending board (42) extending rearwards from the main body. The locking portions (34, 35) are retained in corresponding channels (411) defined on the retaining devices (3) and the holding portion (36) presses against a rear portion of the extending board (42).
