Abstract: An earphone includes a body portion and a sound port, with the sound port including an earhook attachment located adjacent the body portion, an earfin attachment located adjacent the earhook attachment, and an ear tip adjacent the earfin attachment. An earhook is provided which engages the earhook attachment adjacent the body portion. An earfin includes an earfin aperture, which engages the earfin attachment when the sound port portion is inserted through the aperture. The earfin is configured such that when the tip is attached to the sound port, the tip extends beyond the earfin, opposite the body portion.

Abstract: A personalized housing for a consumer product, such as a speaker, includes a customizable cover at least partially covering the product and a set of at least two end caps coupled to the product. The end caps are oriented in at least partial opposition to each other and installed using an interference fit. A vibration dampening connector or buffer couples the end caps to the product. The buffer is arranged such that urging the end caps onto the product couples the end caps in a releasable interference fit, and the cover remains coupled to the product when the end caps are pulled from the cover. The cover allows access to controls located on the product, for example volume and input controls, may be made of a front panel covering only the front of the product, and a corresponding enclosure that covers the top, rear and sides of the product.

Abstract: A customizable headphone includes an earphone having a body portion and a nozzle portion extending from the body portion. A decorative housing including an opening is designed to accommodate the body portion. The decorative housing also includes a releasable connection for affixing the decorative housing to the body portion, wherein the decorative housing encloses the body portion with the nozzle portion exposed. Upon releasing the releasable connection, a user may separate the decorative housing from the body portion and install a different decorative housing on the body portion as desired. The releasable connection can be a lip on the opening that corresponds to a channel on the body portion, and stabilizers either on the body portion or the decorative housing prevent the decorative housing from moving relative to the body portion.

Abstract: A customizable headphone having a removable and interchangeable housing includes an earphone having a transducer for reproducing sound a sound port, and a body portion. A first housing sized to accommodate the body portion is coupled to and partially encloses the body portion using a resilient releasable connection without obstructing the sound port when affixed to the body portion. Upon biasing the first housing to separate from the body portion, the first housing may be fully removed and replaced with a second housing with a different appearance and characteristics. The releasable connection may include a retaining ring coupled to the body portion in a channel to engage the interior of a housing in a pressure fit.

Abstract: A mobile device and peripheral hardware case and holder comprises a panel section for attachment to the rear of peripheral hardware, such as a battery pack or amplifier. Abstract: A headphone having two earpieces, each earpiece having a audio jack, and a plug adapted to releasably engage the audio jack and when inserted into the audio jack, creating a substantially air-tight seal. The plug is molded from a resilient material, such that it may be slightly deformed when inserted tightly into the headphone earpiece and retain its original shape when removed. The plug includes a tab for engaging the interior of the headphone and locking the plug in position. The plug also includes raised indicia such as a logo, shaped such that a user can grasp and rotate the indicia to insert and lock the plug in place.

Abstract: An earphone support for an in-ear, earbud-type of headphone has an earphone with a portion for insertion into a user's ear canal, and a portion for connecting to a cable.
