    摘要: Provided are an image forming method by which an image in which arbitrary glossiness is adjusted to any section is formed, and an image forming apparatus thereof. It is a feature that an image forming method possesses the steps of forming a gloss adjusting layer possessing a gloss adjusting toner-fixed image formed with a gloss adjusting toner, on an image support, and forming a toner-fixed image obtained from a toner, on the gloss adjusting layer, wherein the gloss adjusting layer possesses an aggregate of gloss adjusting units; the gloss adjusting units each possess a section where the gloss adjusting toner is attached and another section where the gloss adjusting toner is unattached; and a borderline between the section and the another section is a straight line.

    摘要: Provided is an image forming method in which a foil image exhibiting excellent finish without any wrinkle and strong adhesive strength is formed on a foil transferring face made of toner. The image forming method for transferring the transfer foil on the foil transferring face is conducted by contacting the transfer foil to the foil transferring face formed by using toner having a glass transition temperature of not more than 60° C., and by passing through a nip portion formed between a driving roller and a follower roller.

    摘要: Disclosed is a structural color display including: (a) a pattern forming member which forms a plurality of cells each lined up in two dimension; and (b) a light transmissive image display sheet comprising a color showing layer which shows a structural color, the light transmissive image display sheet being faced to the pattern forming member, wherein each cell is independently controlled to reflect a light from a light source corresponding to an image pattern to be displayed, provided that the reflected light is made to enter in the image display sheet from a side facing the pattern forming member by a predetermined incident angle corresponding to the cell. The pattern image forming member comprises the element having a plurality of microscopic mirrors arranged in a rectangular array and being individually rotated.

The carrier comprises a magnetite core and a resin coated on the magnetite core wherein the magnetite core contains FeO and Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, the mole ratio of FeO/Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3 being 0.15/1.0 to 0.7/1.0, and the carrier contains a magnesium atom containing material at a surface of the carrier, magnesium atom content ratio at the surface being 1.5 to 5.0 (percent in the number of atoms).A developer for developing an electrostatic latent image using the carrier and a developing method using the carrier or the developer is also disclosed.
