    摘要: An image forming method using toner comprising toner particles having a core-shell structure comprising a core particle incorporating a viscous material and a shell layer covering the above core particle is disclosed. The method comprises steps of a toner image forming step on a dielectric drum; a first pressure applying step in which the shell layer of the toner particles forming the toner image is subjected to a preliminary break treatment by a first pressure roller, which is arranged in contact with the dielectric drum; and a transfer/fixing step in which a toner image made by the toner particles which have been subjected to a preliminary break treatment by the first pressure applying step is transferred and fixed to an image support by a second pressure roller which is arranged in contact with the dielectric drum.

    摘要: Disclosed is a structural color display including: (a) a pattern forming member which forms a plurality of cells each lined up in two dimension; and (b) a light transmissive image display sheet comprising a color showing layer which shows a structural color, the light transmissive image display sheet being faced to the pattern forming member, wherein each cell is independently controlled to reflect a light from a light source corresponding to an image pattern to be displayed, provided that the reflected light is made to enter in the image display sheet from a side facing the pattern forming member by a predetermined incident angle corresponding to the cell. The pattern image forming member comprises the element having a plurality of microscopic mirrors arranged in a rectangular array and being individually rotated.

    摘要: Provide a bulky paper that provides improved paper-strength properties such as higher tensile strength without increasing paper density, while also offering good optical characteristics such as opacity and brightness, wherein the paper is produced by: (a) blending polyacrylamides that have an electric charge of 2.0 m-equivalent/g or less at pH2 and also 2.0 m-equivalent/g or less at pH12; (b) adding fillers comprising amorphous silica or silicate with a specific bulk density of 0.3 g/ml or less, bulk-increasing agents comprising fatty-acid polyamide compound or of ester compound of polyhydric alcohol and fatty acid, and/or mercerized pulps or bridged pulps; and (c) adjusting the relative bonding area of the paper containing polyacrylamides to 1.2 times the relative bonding area of a paper not containing polyacrylamides, or less.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a photosensitive member which includes a photoconductive layer of amorphous silicon and an insulating layer formed thereover and including amorphous silicon, carbon and an element in Group III A of the Periodic Table. Carbon is included in an amount of about 35 to 65 atomic % at the outer most surface of the insulating layer and a minimum amount at the interface with the photoconductive layer.
