    摘要: A boundary 1 of a wall in an initial image of time-series images is decided automatically or manually. A boundary 2 is generated automatically or manually in a neighbor of the other boundary of the wall. A normalized image is generated on the basis of an image pattern of a region surrounded by the boundaries 1 and 2 and registered as a template image. In each of the time-series images, boundaries 1 and 2 that generate a normalized image most similar to the template image are calculated. In this manner, wall thickness change can be calculated automatically stably and accurately even in the case where luminance change in the boundaries of a wall is obscure. This method is useful for diagnosis of heart disease etc. in medical image diagnosis.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is provided. A first imaging unit captures a plurality of first image data including first and second reference frames. The frames include a reference position and a target region in an object. A movement amount calculation unit calculates a movement amount of a local position between the first and second reference frames. A correction parameter setting unit sets a first correction parameter for correcting body motion of the object, based on the movement amount. An error map generating unit generates a predictive error map including a pixel value corresponding to a predictive correction error. The predictive correction error is obtained from a predictive position based on the movement amount and a predictive correction position based on the first correction parameter. A display unit displays the predictive error map and the first image data.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises an ultrasonic probe, a scanning unit, an image data generating unit, a slice specifying unit, an image generating unit and a display unit. The scanning unit repeats three-dimensional scanning on a three-dimensional region in an object with an ultrasonic wave via the ultrasonic probe. The image data generating unit repeatedly generates three-dimensional image data based on an output from the scanning unit. The slice specifying unit specifies at least one slice from the three-dimensional image data concurrently with the three-dimensional scanning. The image generating unit generates at least one slice image associated with the specified slice from the three-dimensional image data. The display unit displays the generated slice image.

A tracking point indication unit initially indicates a plurality of tracking points on a first image stored in the memory. A pattern matching unit compares a pattern of each tracking point of the first image with a second image stored in the memory, and detects a plurality of destination candidate points from the second image, each corresponding to each tracking point. A position inconsistency correction unit decides whether a positional relation of the plurality of destination candidate points is consistent with a positional relation of the plurality of tracking points, and corrects at least one of the plurality of destination candidate points on the second image if the positional relation of the plurality of destination candidate points is inconsistent with the positional relation of the plurality of tracking points.
