摘要： An imaging system is provided which can efficiently capture an authentication image of a subject by an imaging device provided around a position toward which the subject is moving. The imaging system includes; a plurality of imaging devices, provided at different positions, respectively, for capturing moving images; a direction detection unit for detecting the moving direction of the subject based on the moving image in which the subject is contained; a selection unit for selecting one of the imaging devices, that is to capture the authentication image of the subject based on the moving direction thus detected and the positions of the imaging devices; and a storage unit for storing the authentication image captured by the selected imaging device.

摘要： There are provided a background replacing apparatus, a background replacing program, and a background replacing method, which are capable of creating a background replaced image in which a background of a photographic image is naturally replaced with a desired background. The background replacing apparatus has an image obtaining section 710 that obtains a plurality of photographic images obtained through photography of a common subject under a plurality of photographic conditions, and a replacement processing section 730. In the replacement processing section, a background area of the photographic image is discriminated from other areas in accordance with the photographic images obtained by the image obtaining section 710, and a mixing ratio of a subject color and a background color, and the subject color are presumed in other areas excepting the background area in the photographic image, and a background of the photographic image obtained by the image obtaining section 710 is replaced with a different background using the subject color and the mixing ratio, which are presumed.

摘要： In a vacuum degassing and decarburization treatment, the present invention uses a CO.sub.2 gas as a recirculating gas and as a stirring gas without inviting stoppage of decarburization and an increase in the carbon concentration and moreover, without an increase in the amount of addition of an alloy, and can reduce the gas cost. The present invention provides a production method for a low carbon molten steel which comprises blowing a CO.sub.2 gas from the start of degassing treatment till the carbon concentration of the molten steel reaches 50 ppm in vacuum degassing and decarburization treatment of the molten steel, and thereafter blowing an Ar gas.

摘要： An endoscope system includes an illumination apparatus for applying imaging light to body tissue in a tube of a body cavity. An electronic endoscope images the body tissue illuminated with the imaging light, and outputs a blue image signal of blue and a green image signal of green. A signal processing device detects specific body tissue (such as blood vessels) in the body tissue according to the blue and green image signals. A calibration device refers to a reference ratio predetermined according to a reflectivity of the body tissue in relation to the blue and green, and calibrates the blue and green image signals to set a ratio between the blue and green image signals equal to the reference ratio.
