摘要: A motion control apparatus for a vehicle can perform vehicle stability control. The apparatus determines that the vehicle is experiencing spin tendency when it detects a driver's specific operation that induces spin tendency and then detects a specific behavior representing spin tendency of the vehicle, and changes the conditions for initiating the vehicle stability control such that the control is initiated more easily. The specific operation may be an excessive steering operation in the turning direction or a load moving operation which increases the load acting on the front wheels. The specific behavior may be disagreement between behavior of steering angle and behavior of actual yaw rate of the vehicle. Accordingly, the occurrence of relatively slow spin tendency caused by the above “specific operation” can be detected with certainty. Further, upon detection of spin tendency, vehicle stability control is early initiated and executed, whereby stability of the vehicle is maintained.

摘要: A portion of an anode lead frame 3 of a solid electrolytic capacitor 1 is bent to form a protruding portion 4 that protrudes toward an anode lead 20. The protruding portion 4 includes a first horizontal portion 41 positioned higher than and substantially parallel to the anode lead 20, a second horizontal portion 40 contacting the anode lead 20, a sloping portion 42 linking the inner end of the first horizontal portion 41 with the outer end of the second horizontal portion 40, and an auxiliary bent portion 43 bent upward from the inner end of the second horizontal portion 40 and substantially symmetrical with the sloping portion 42. A contact surface 46 of the second horizontal portion 40 with the anode lead 20 is formed flat, and a surface 47 of the second horizontal portion 40 on the opposite side to the contact surface 46 is formed with a rounded curvature.

摘要: A wheel-speed-sensor-anomaly detection apparatus detects anomaly of wheel speed sensors of a vehicle. When a difference between the minimum wheel speed among detected wheel speeds and the smallest value among the remaining wheel speeds is greater than a predetermined threshold value, in principle, a wheel speed sensor of the wheel corresponding to the minimum wheel speed is determined to be anomalous. Meanwhile, when a wheel having a lowered tire air pressure (air-pressure-lowered wheel) is present and a road surface on which the vehicle is currently traveling is a low-μ road surface, the operation of detecting anomaly of the wheel speed sensors is prohibited. This operation reliably prevents erroneous detection of anomaly of the wheel speed sensor of the air-pressure-lowered wheel, which erroneous detection would otherwise occur due to the locking tendency of the air-pressure-lowered wheel occurring because of decreased tire air pressure, in particular, on a low-μ road surface.

摘要: A discharged paper receiver unit for receiving papers discharged from an image recording apparatus has a bottom plate on which papers discharged from the image recording apparatus are stacked and which is positioned with its one end held lower than the other at least when the discharged paper receiver unit is set in its operative position. A stopper member has a cushioning portion positioned so that the leading end of each paper as discharged from the image recording apparatus directly impacts against the cushioning portion and the paper falls onto the bottom plate. An end lining-up member is provided near the end of the bottom plate which is held lower than the other when the discharged paper receiver unit is in its operative position, is positioned so that the leading end of each paper as discharged from the image recording apparatus cannot directly impact against the end lining-up member before impacting the cushioning portion, and is provided with a lining-up surface which is erected from the bottom plate and against which one end of the paper is brought into abutment after the leading end of the paper impacts against the cushioning portion.

摘要: A quick connector includes a male member, a female member and an engager claw member. The male member includes a ring-shaped engager. The female member includes a receiver hole having an opening into which the male member is inserted, a ring-shaped stopper surface disposed oppositely to the opening, and a regulatory inner peripheral surface extending from the periphery of the stopper surface in an axial direction. The engager claw member disposed in the receiver hole of the female member, and it includes a ring-shaped base disposed movably in an axial direction, arms extending from the base to the opening in an axial direction and adapted for being elastically deformable in a radial direction, and a claw disposed so as to extend from each of the arms and adapted for engaging with the engager of the male member. In operation, the claws of the engager claw member are brought into contact with the stopper surface and engaged with the regulatory inner peripheral surface while they are engaged with the engager of the male member. Consequently, the male member in inhibited from displacing not only in an axial direction by the stopper surface, but also in a centrifugal direction by the regulatory inner peripheral surface. Thus, the engaging force associated with the claws is exerted securely, and accordingly the reliability of the quick connector in piping can be improved.
