摘要:
An optical touch apparatus is disclosed. The optical touch apparatus comprises a light source emitting module, an optical module, a light sensing module, and a processing module. The optical module and the light sensing module are set around a surface of the optical touch apparatus. The light source emitting module sequentially emits scanning lights uniformly distributed above a direct scanned region of the surface according to a time sequence. When an object forms a touch point on the surface, the object will block the scanning lights and reflected lights reflected by the optical module. The light sensing module generates a sensing result according to the condition the light sensing module receives the scanning lights and the reflected lights. The processing module determines the position of the touch point according to the time sequence and the sensing result.

An optical touch apparatus is disclosed. The optical touch apparatus comprises a light emitting module, a noise suppressing module, a light sensing module, and a processing module. The light emitting module emits at least one sensing beam, and the at least one sensing beam comprises a plurality of sensing rays. If an emitting angle of a specific sensing ray among the plurality of sensing rays toward a light sensor of the light sensing module is larger than a default value, the noise suppressing module will block the specific sensing ray from emitting into the light sensor. After the light sensing module generates a sensing result according to the condition of the light sensing module receiving the at least one sensing beam, the processing module will determine the position of a touch point according to the sensing result.

An apparatus and a method for changing optical tweezers are provided. The apparatus includes a diffractive optical element (DOE), a mask unit and an objective lens. The DOE includes a plurality of phase delay patterns. The mask unit includes a plurality of mask patterns that correspond to the phase delay patterns, respectively, wherein at least a portion of the mask patterns are complementary. A laser beam passing through each phase diffractive pattern correspondingly passes through each mask pattern to generate a compound diffractive pattern. The objective lens receives the compound diffractive pattern and focuses it on an examining object to form an optical tweezers.

The invention discloses a device for animating facial expression. The device includes at least one resilient member and at least one actuator. The resilient member is regarded as a facial feature on a face, and the resilient member has a first end and a second end. The first end of the resilient member is rotatably and/or movably attached onto the face. The actuator is used for actuating the first end of the resilient member to rotate, so that the facial feature is capable of exhibiting various facial expressions on the face, wherein the facial feature can be eyebrow, upper eyelid, lower eyelid, upper lip or lower lip.

The present invention provides an optical disk and, more particularly, an optical disk including a data side and a label side. The data side has a first pregroove on which a plurality of first position marks are marked to provide an optical pickup unit with a basis for writing data onto the data side or reading data from the data side. In addition, the label side has a label layer and a second pregroove on which a plurality of second position marks are marked to provide the optical pickup unit with a basis for forming an image onto the label side.

The invention provides a microinjection apparatus for a fluid. The microinjection apparatus includes a substrate, a manifold, a fluid chamber, a dummy chamber, a detecting device, and a pair of parallel conductive plates. The manifold is formed on the substrate and supplies the fluid chamber and the dummy chamber, also formed on the substrate, with the fluid. In addition, the pair of parallel conductive plates are formed on a pair of opposite inner walls of the dummy chamber, and electrically connected to the detecting device. By applying the pair of parallel conductive plates and the detecting device provided in the invention, the size of the fluid chamber and the fluid-filled condition relative to the fluid chamber can be indirectly detected by non-destructive testing. Furthermore, the cost of and the time of testing also can be prominently saved.

The present invention is directed to a procedure and a special balloon used in balloon angioplasty and stent installation in percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), which employs a heart catheter with a balloon at its distal end. After being inflated, the balloon is in doughnut shape with a hole in the center; its length is made to fit the length of the stent to be inflated. During an angioplasty procedure, the balloon is pushed forward into the stenosis and inflated with a device to dilate the blockage. The doughnut_shaped balloon provides a pass way for blood to flow through the coronary artery vessel, which does not cause angina akin to a heart attack resulted from traditional tube_shaped balloons used in the PTCA procedure that completely block blood flow after being fully inflated during balloon angioplasty and stent installation.

The present invention provides a method for recording an image onto a label layer of an optical disc by a laser beam. First, the method of the invention divides the label layer into a plurality of unit regions. For each of the unit regions, the method of the invention determines a recording pattern corresponding to each unit region in accordance with the data related to the image to be recorded. Finally, the method of the invention controls the laser beam to irradiate a relative energy on each unit region, so as to form the corresponding recording pattern. Thereby, the whole of the recording patterns formed on the label layer exhibits the image.

Electro-optical communications may be facilitated between electrical devices by providing pluggable electro-optic modules. The pluggable electro-optic modules may be pluggingly received within U-shaped electrical connectors associated with printed circuit boards on both the receive and transmit ends. In some cases, the pluggable modules may be plugged in to establish communications and may be removed for repair or replacement.
