    摘要: A method for producing an aromatic polycarbonate which comprises subjecting to a transesterification polymerization reaction at least one polymerizable material selected from a molten monomer mixture of an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a diaryl carbonate, and a molten prepolymer obtained from the monomer mixture, wherein the transesterification reaction is performed in one or more polymerizers which is or are connected through a pipeline system toward an outlet for a final aromatic polycarbonate product, wherein the pipeline system comprises one or more pipes through which a molten aromatic polycarbonate having a number average molecular weight increased by the transesterification polymerization reaction is passed while contacting an inner wall of the pipe or pipes, and wherein a molten aromatic polycarbonate having a number average molecular weight of less than 2,500 is passed through the pipe or pipes at a velocity of 0.05 m/sec. or more and a molten aromatic polycarbonate having a number average molecular weight of 2,500 or more is passed through the pipe or pipes at a velocity of 0.005 m/sec. or more. By the method of the present invention, a high quality aromatic polycarbonate which is not only highly colorless but also has a low foreign matter content can be produced by using an ordinary pipeline system comprising the pipe or pipes made of an ordinary material.

    摘要: A printer having a validation paper feeding mechanism in which the validation paper feed is controlled by a single solenoid and only the validation paper feed can be effected even when a cut or continuous paper is set. A ratchet wheel and a validation roller are mounted on the rotatable shaft via a one-way clutch. The one-way clutch selectively transmits a torque of the rotatable shaft to the validation roller in the direction of the validation paper feed. The validation roller has an arcuate circumferential surface for feeding the validation paper and a chord flat surface for inserting the validation paper. The armature is angularly moved between a first position where it engages the positioning projection of the ratchet wheel for determining an initial position of the validation roller and a second position where it engages the pawls of the ratchet wheel for stopping the validation roller at a plurality of predetermined positions.

    摘要: A printer with a mechanism for guiding paper has a lower casing having a printer body therein with a print head therein, an upper casing hingedly mounted on the lower casing for movement between a closed and an open position relative to the printer body, and the lower casing has a lower casing guide member and the upper casing having an upper casing guide member which is in spaced opposed relation to the lower casing guide member when the upper casing is in the closed position for defining between the guide members a paper guide path. The lower casing has a paper feeding opening for feeding a printing paper into the printer past the print head and over the lower casing guide member. The upper casing guide member is pivotally mounted on the upper casing for pivoting movement of the part of the upper casing guide member which is toward the paper feeding opening toward and away from the lower casing guide member. A spring is engaged with the upper casing guide member normally urging the upper casing guide member in a pivoting direction in which the part of the upper casing guide member which is toward the paper feeding opening is moved away from the lower casing guide member. A cam on the lower casing and the upper casing guide member, when the upper casing is moved from the open position to the closed position, pivots the upper casing guide member against the action of the spring to a position, when the upper casing is in the closed position, in which it is in the spaced opposed relation to the lower casing guide member for defining the paper guide path.
