摘要: A length-adjusting device for a control cable, comprising a stationary base member to which an outer cable or an inner cable of the control cable is fixedly secured, and into which a cylindrical adjusting pipe, having circular grooves formed and disposed thereon in parallel is inserted and movable in axial direction thereof; an adjusting piece, having a resilient spring, and having a pair of similarly pitched locking teeth for engagement to and release from the circular grooves, which is moveably inserted in a direction perpendicularly to the axis of the adjusting pipe and into an aperture in the stationary base member; and wherein the adjusting piece is biased by the resilient spring which is disposed between the stationary base member and the adjusting piece, for engaging the circular grooves with the locking teeth, and at the same time enabling the release of the engagement by movement against the resilient force of the resilient spring by means of an external force, and wherein the adjusting piece having opposing side plates is further provided with latching windows at their ends for engagement with corresponding latching elements provided on a pair of oppositely disposed side plates of the stationary base member.

摘要: A lock arm is rotatably provided on a base bracket. A ratchet is rotatably disposed on a shaft member provided at an end portion of the lock arm. A distal-end claw portion of the ratchet is shaped to be engageable with reverse motion preventing teeth formed on the base bracket. A stopper wall is provided on a proximal end portion of the lock arm. In the state in which an engaging portion of the trigger lever abuts upon the stopper wall, an end portion of the trigger lever is supported by a movable body. Thereby, the lock arm is held in a normal position. The movable body moves from a first position toward a second position at the time of a collision. A support shaft or the center of rotation of the trigger lever is located on a higher level than a location where the lock arm is engaged with the trigger lever. The movable body is provided with a recess in which the end portion of the trigger lever is put when the movable body has moved from the first position to the second position.

摘要: A length-adjusting device for a control cable, which can be made compact, operated within a small stroke and kept securely locked, and can, as well, be assembled easily, comprising: an adjusting pipe (1), having latching teeth (5) thereon, to be fixed with an outer control cable and penetrated by an inner control cable, a base member (2), to be penetrated by said adjusting pipe (1) movably along the axis thereof, and fixed to a stationary member and an adjusting piece (30) with locking teeth (6) to engage with said latching teeth (5), wherein the movement of said adjusting pipe (1) relative to said base member (2) is locked by means of the engagement of said latching teeth (5) with said locking teeth (6), and the extent of said movement is restricted within a concave (4) of said adjusting pipe (1), after releasing said engagement (refer to FIG. 6).

摘要: An armrest, has a stationary shaft rotatably supporting an armrest body against a seat frame. The stationary shaft is inserted, so as to have fastening tolerance, inside a coil lock spring and to have a stationary-side hook and a free-side hook. A diameter of the coil lock spring is reduced or enlarged according to a normal or a reverse rotation, respectively, of the armrest body, so as to prevent or permit, respectively, the rotation of the armrest body. One of the inside diameter of the lock spring and the outside diameter of the stationary shaft is tapered in said shaft's axial direction.
