摘要： Musical cymbals are mounted on a tripod stand using a threaded rod which is several inches in length. A conventional nut is then threaded on the rod which has to be turned a multiple number of times until the nut abuts the cymbal thereby securing the cymbal on the rod. Using the slip nut assembly of this invention eliminates this time consuming installation procedure of the nut and similarly eliminates the time consuming uninstalling of the nut when the musician is to move to a different playing location.

Each elastic locking piece extends from the first side to the second side opposite to the first side, in the direction of the axis of the screw member such that its leading end approaches the screw member within the insertion hole of a tubular body part. Each elastic locking piece is elastically deformable such that its leading end is separated from the screw member. Each locking piece has at its leading end a locking claw that engages with the screw groove of the screw member. A claw leading-edge of the locking claw has a straight section extending straight on one side in a circumferential direction around the axis, and a curved section extending curvedly along the circumferential direction on the other side.

摘要： The present invention relates to a thread clamping device including a plurality of movable nut segments around a threaded rod, and spring members flexibly holding the segments against the rod. The thread clamping device has a structure adapted to accommodate substantially planar outer surfaces of the nut segments engaging planar surfaces of the end housing of the device, leading to a more robust device and improved performance. Such a thread clamping device can advantageously be used as a component of a self-adjusting shrinkage compensation device, a coupler for threaded rods, hold-downs, among other uses. Various embodiments of the thread clamping device include a multi nut configuration, a quick release embodiment, and embodiments including mechanical or magnetic clip attachments.

摘要： A nut main body has a slanted hole with a smaller inner end portion having a plurality of stepped portions of differing height. This gives the slanted hole a differing depth relative to a large-diameter end portion of the slanted hole at a plurality of locations about a circumference of the slanted hole. A plurality of nut segments are slidable within the slanted hole and come into contact with at least one of the stepped portions. The nut segments have screw threads at an inner wall surface. A washer is provided at a large-diameter side of the plurality of nut segments. A bias spring is attached within the nut main body so as to urge the plurality of nut segments towards the small-diameter side of the nut main body with the washer therebetween. A stopper piece holds the bias spring within the nut main body.

The second body is adapted for assembly to the first body with a panel or the like between the bodies such that the center opening can be mounted over the mounting stud with the at least one finger engaging the teeth on the mounting stud to prevent removal.

摘要： An anchor for securing a threaded rod to a concrete structural element has a generally tapered conical or spherical body element configured to be seated within the concrete structural element. The anchor further includes a threaded bore extending through the body element. The threaded bore engages the threads of the rod in order to secure the rod to the concrete structural element. The body element has a generally planar top face having a top face diameter, as well as a generally planar bottom face having a bottom face diameter. Formed between the top face and the bottom face is a side wall such that the body element is formed with a taper. The taper is inserted into a complementary recess formed within the concrete structural element.
