摘要： A camera is provided with a photographing device for setting various photographing conditions which determine a state of a subject image to be obtained as a picture, the photography device including an exposure device having a plurality of selectively settable exposure modes for automatically setting at least one exposure value based on brightness of a subject, a mode selector for selecting one of the plurality of exposure modes, a calculation unit for calculating an amount indicative of the state of the subject image in accordance with the photographing conditions set by the photography device, an estimation unit for estimating visual effects which the subject image provides based on the calculated state amount, and a display device for displaying the visual effect corresponding to the exposure mode selected by the mode selection means in accordance with the estimated visual effects. Accordingly, an operator of the camera is allowed to conceive before an exposing operation what the final picture will look like in accordance with the photographing conditions set in a variety of exposure modes.

摘要： A camera having a blurring correction apparatus according to the present invention includes a photographic lens for forming an image of an object to be photographed, a detecting apparatus for detecting the degree of movement of the formed image of the object, a correcting apparatus operative at least during exposure time for correcting the position of the image of the object in response to a detection output of the detecting apparatus so as to compensate the movement of the image of the object, a setting apparatus for setting exposure time, a calculating apparatus for calculating the amount of movement of the image of the object produced during exposure time based on the detection output of the detecting apparatus and the set exposure time, and a prohibiting apparatus for prohibiting the operation of the correcting apparatus when the amount of movement of the image of the object produced during exposure time is smaller than a predetermined value.

摘要： A photographic camera having a photographic operating device including a focus detecting circuit, a shutter control circuit, a light measuring circuit and a light emission control circuit, an adjustment data memory for storing adjustment data based on functional characteristics of the respective circuits of the photographic operating device and an adjustment circuit for adjusting the respective circuits by using adjustment data read from the adjustment data memory. The adjustment data memory is consituted by an EEPROM for making it possible to conveniently and readily rewrite the adjustment data. The adjustment data is calculated from a linear function expression established between a design value and an actual value for avoiding trial-and-error preparatory operations for the adjustment.

摘要： An electronic flash device, detachably attached to a photographic camera, comprising a circuitry for carrying out preparatory operation for a flash photography, an input section for receiving a first start signal from the photographic camera and for outputting the same, signal outputting means responsive to a manual operation for outputting a second start signal, and power supply hold means connected to the circuitry, the input section and to the operational member. The above power supply hold means includes a power supply start section for starting the power supply to the circuitry by receiving either of the start signals, a power supply stop section for stopping the power supply to the circuitry when a predetermined time period has passed since the power supply start section starts the power supply, a judging section for judging by which start signal the circuitry is started and a changing section for changing the predetermined power supply time period in response to the judged result of the judging section such that the predetermined time period set when the circuitry is started by the first start signal is shorter than the predetermined time period set when the circuitry is started by the second start signal.
