The camera body (10) has an imaging unit (120) for imaging a subject through the interchangeable lens (20), and a sequence microcomputer (100) capable of sending and receiving information to and from a lens microcomputer (200) and for controlling the imaging operation of an imaging unit (120). The interchangeable lens (20) includes a shake detection unit (201) for detecting shake in the camera system (1), an image blur correction device (210) for adjusting the optical path from a subject to the camera body (10) and thereby correcting the blurring of an image caused by shaking of the camera system (1), and the lens microcomputer (200) capable of sending and receiving information to and from the sequence microcomputer (100), and for controlling the drive of the image blur correction device (210) according to the amount of shake detected by the shake detection unit (201). The imaging optical system of the interchangeable lens (20) includes an aperture unit (206) which can adjust the imaging condition. The lens microcomputer (200) actuates the shake correction device (210) once a first set time has elapsed since the receipt of an adjustment command from the sequence microcomputer (100).
Abstract:
A camera capable of correcting a shake includes a shake amount detector for detecting a shake amount of an object light image on an exposure plane, a memory for storing data in connection with a shake due to operation of a shutter release member, a calculator for calculating a shake correction control value based on a shake amount detected by the shake amount detector after operation of the shutter release member and the data stored in the memory, and a controller for controlling the optical system in accordance with a calculated shake correction control value to correct the shake.
Abstract:
A camera comprises discrimination means for discriminating whether an image stabilizing function is active or not and control means responsive to the discrimination by the discrimination means that the image stabilizing function is active for changing a shutter speed for an image blur warning or inhibiting the image blur warning.
Abstract:
A function display system of a camera including a switch block, an automatic distance measuring circuit, a brightness measuring circuit, a motor driving circuit, and a function display unit. The CPU causes the function display unit to display each camera function in serial order after a power switch is pressed, thereby informing the user of camera functions. When a user presses a flash function or photograph function switch for a predetermined interval, the CPU changes camera sub-functions. The CPU displays a sub-function arranged by a user and a special sub-function arranged by a camera for a longer interval, allowing the user to select the sub-functions more easily. As a result, the camera display system and method provides a camera having improved convenience and efficiency.
Abstract:
A camera comprises an angular velocity sensor for detecting camera-shake. The angular velocity sensor takes a certain time to be stabilized after its operation is started. When correction of camera-shake is required during the certain period, it is displayed that correction of camera-shake is not possible. As a result, a photographer using the camera with the camera-shake detection sensor refrains from photographing when correction of camera-shake is not possible.
Abstract:
An anti-shake camera includes a camera shake correction lens for correcting image blurring caused by a camera shake, a camera shake correction lens position detection device for detecting the moving position of the camera shake correction lens, and an indication device for indicating a shaking direction of the camera so as to decrease the moving amount of the camera shake correction lens from a neutral position.

Abstract:
An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging section that captures an image of a subject; a detection section that detects flicker of a through-the-lens image as a moving image of the subject which is obtained by image capturing of the imaging section; and a control section that, when the detection section detects the flicker, controls an aperture, a shutter speed, and a gain on the basis of through-the-lens image control values as control values for controlling the aperture, the shutter speed, and the gain so as to preferentially suppress occurrence of flicker in the through-the-lens image.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an image-shake correction apparatus comprising: an image displacement device that displaces on an image forming plane an image formed by an image-capturing optical system; an image-shake correction device that displaces an image by use of the image displacement device in such a way as to cancel an image shake due to a vibration exerted on the image-capturing optical system; and an output device that outputs to a predetermined external apparatus information on image displacement by the image displacement device, in order to prevent the occurrence of defects due to image-shake correction, information on the image-shake correction can be supplied to an external apparatus that obtains capturing conditions of a camera and implements predetermined processing.
